CNN Plays ‘Gotcha’ Over Puerto Rico Joke… Vivek Flips Script, Leaves Them Gobsmacked

Their power to terrify and destroy conservatives is broken. The bullies who once kicked sand in GOP faces with impunity has completely lost any upper-hand they once had.

Public perception of the press has shifted to the point that having the media praise you can worse than having them slander you. How else do you explain the abject failure of Kamala’s carefully curated media push?

Every passing day that fails to make a ‘hitlerian’ reference about Trump and his supporters, will make up for it with slanders about racism, sexism, stupidity, heartlessness, or ‘threats to democracy’. They’ve gone to that well so often that it seldom moves the needle.

We’re at the point where they don’t stop to notice the absurdity of their claims as they make them, like the one going around that Trump will outlaw inter-racial marriage — forgetting that Trump’s veep pick is married to an immigrant from India.

The latest tempest in a teapot is leveraging a joke about Puerto Rico made by one of the long list of speakers at Trump’s MSG rally. The statement was part of a stand-up bit by a comic.

Here is Vivek getting grilled about that joke on CNN. Watch how effortlessly he bats away the attack and exposes the hypocrisy of media types getting their panties in a wad over this joke, while having nothing to say about George Lopez roasting Mexicans at a Kamala rally the same weekend.

Then he picks up that Puerto Rico thread after CNN trots out the familiar cudgel of election integrity measures.

Notice how he takes the framing of ‘conservatives look down on Puerto Rico’ and completely clowns them by sharing what he learned about Puerto Rico and holding them up as an example for the rest of us to follow in terms of election integrity.

And here it is with the caption:

Notice how these are the very same election integrity measures that are denounces as ‘racist’ when implemented elsewhere… but for some reason, Puerto Rico isn’t slapped with that allegation.
