If Kamala Basked In The Spotlight Of Griner Exchange… Should She Own The Negative Consequences, Too?

Sure, she came home... but at what price?

Kamala loved the fanfare of Brittney Griner coming home again from Russia after getting busted for drug possession in a Moscow airport.

A lot was made of the irony of Kamala’s long history of locking people up for exactly that offense, but not this time. Kamala has made a point of folding herself into the story of Griner coming home again… even showing up at the first home game and making an appearance.

All of the boilerplate buzzwords about courage were out in force. But what WASN’T highlighted by the Biden/Harris administration was the steep price Putin exacted for her return. Russians were given an international arms dealer who has been on the FBI’s most-wanted list.

And, surprise surprise, Griner is NOT the only one who’s ‘back in the game’.

The guy the Russians had released is ALSO very much ‘back in the game’. These days, he’s been arming Houthis. If that name sounds familiar.. it should. They’ve been firing on American ships and other maritime traffic in the Red Sea since, well, shortly after the 10/7 attack in Israel.

They just HAPPEN to be one of the Iranian-backed proxies who think ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’ should be more than just a slogan… it should be a way of life.

Since Kamala and Joe played such an important role in bringing Grimer home… shouldn’t she share some of the credit for anything the Houthies accomplish with the weapons they’re firing on American, maritime shipping, and Israeli targets in the Middle East?

It’s only fair to take the credit WITH the blame for the consequences of any given decision, right?
