Is A Very PO’d Team Biden Actively Sabotaging Kamala’s POTUS Run?
That might explain a few things.
It’s no secret that Joe Biden is petty, venal, and vindictive. After being unceremoniously kicked to the curb this summer, is Team Biden kneecapping Team Kamala?
Like any murder mystery, you look at the questions of motive, means and opportunity. Team Biden has all three. So, is there an active sabotage attempt going on against the Kamala Campaign?
It’s a wild claim, but one that is not so easily dismissed. For one thing, there have been rumors of bad blood between Biden staff and Kamala staff pretty much since Day One. They run in different circles, they have different objectives. Whatever effort they made at playing nice in public, it was widely reported that they did not get along well.
Let’s consider the available evidence.
There are rumors that conflict has been escalating between the two factions of the White House… going from a simmer to a full boil. Those rumors explicitly link the conflict to a belief that Biden’s White House is deliberately undermining Kamala’s campaign.

You’ll notice that up until now, Kamala’s been running as someone who will bring hope and change to an office that needs a new direction, not as someone who has a record she can be proud of. Kamala has now pivoted on that point:

Less than 12 hours after my reporting that Kamala and Jill’s staff had a fight in the White House, Harris is on the View dropping the ‘change agent’ and suddenly talking about how she is on the same page as Joe Biden – first time she’s ever talked like this in an interview

On that point, until very recently, when Kamala was trying to offer her new and fresh vision, Joe Biden was telling the world just how closely they had worked together, and how she was involved in every decision.
When Kamala was trying to pick a fight with Ron DeSantis, claiming he was a do-nothing political showboater who wouldn’t even take her calls, Joe Biden was praising the Governor’s work in Florida and describing how they had each other’s direct phone numbers and were free to call at any time during this emergency.
Even CNN wound up calling THAT a self-own on Kamala’s part, leaving HER looking like the one who was desperate to politicize the hurricane response:

Then there’s the question of stealing her thunder.
On at least two occasions, Joe Biden’s official televised public statements have come at a moment when Kamala was on-air.

As for motive… Joe Biden himself knows his dreams of being remembered as the next FDR have all but evaporated. He’d be lucky to be remembered even as fondly as Jimmy Carter. His family stands to lose a lot — obviously, his political connections (and any money that might have brought in) are about to become as worthless as those old Clinton Initiative donations.
It’s not just the Biden family, either. There’s an entire network of staffers that will be getting their pink slips in January, no matter WHO wins this election. Kamala wouldn’t be stocking her administration with Biden loyalists. She has her own set of donors with long memories to keep happy.
In a town as cuthroat as DC, we should never underestimate a person’s capacity for personal envy and cattiness.
