An opportunity like this one doesn't come up every day... and the Memers were all over it
It was no ordinary funeral. It was a KENNEDY funeral. In a big occasion crawling with celebrities, it was only natural for cameras to be rolling. They were turned on 3 Presidents and caught an interesting exchange.

There’s no telling what was ACTUALLY said in the brief exchange between Obama and Joe (with a brief cameo from Bill just out of frame), because the only audio in the original clip was the music being played.
But the body language of the exchange itself made fertile ground for memer-makerss to ad-lib what ‘might’ have been said. There are multiple variations floating around the internet.
Here’s the one we liked best. It’s got Joe asking Obama about Kamala’s chances in November, and if her slipping might open a window of opportunity for Joe to get back in the game. Joe gets the short end of that interaction. (Language warning)

The Bill Clinton moment at the end is the cherry on top.
