LMAO: The MASSIVE Leverage Trump Could Use If Senate Plays Games With Appointments
No surprise, the objections involved Matt Gaetz
It’s no secret that the GOP Senate is more purple than red in their voting patterns… and are no fan of the MAGA mandate. (Even if they are stuck with it.)
The GOP senate haven’t paid attention to how the other team used a one-vote advantage to burn down every institution. They’ve learned nothing from open declarations that they would end the filibuster to shove their entire agenda down our throats, including packing the courts to their advantage and changing voting laws.
We’ve already seen indications that they may try to throw wrenches in the works right from Day One. They seem to have forgotten how obstructionism has already cost President Trump two years of his presidency… including the indignities heaped upon former Senator Jeff Sessions.
None of that seems to matter to the uniparty wing of the Senate. They have made it clear that they have no intention of fast-tracking Trump’s appointments.
First, Thune said there would be no recess appointments. Now we’re hearing something similar from Mitch McConnell.
Original reporting had Mitch McConnell making a public statement that there would be no recess appointments.
Two hours later, the story changed:
🚨 ALERT RE: McConnell – something sketchy is going on.
This news of McConnell telling Trump “no recess appointments” has been DELETED by the D.C.-based New Yorker reporter….
AFTER a sitting US Senator (@BasedMikeLee) and basically the entirety of X got wind of the news.

Nothing shady about that kind of announcement and retraction from the guy who used to strong-arm the Senate, right?
As for their objections, it’s not as if recess appointments are unusual… especially when Dems have thanked the Senate GOP for the whackjob Biden appointments that sailed through by announcing they would obstruct as many of the appointments as they could.
There’s another way to get them to play ball on that AG appointment… especially after how Comey screwed us over last time. Give them a choice. If they don’t want Matt Gaetz as an AG…
There’s another possibility. He just stepped down from his House seat to take the AGA job. If he doesn’t take on the AG role, he has on other commitments at the moment. He’s from Florida, where Rubio just got the nomination for Trump’s cabinet… Maybe they’d like him better as a senator?
We’ve already seen how he threw a cat among the pidgeons in the House. Imagine if Ron DeSantis picked him to take over Rubio’s seat in the Senate? That seat’s not up for election again until 2028. Adam Schiff would absolutely lose his mind over it. And, to be honest, so would the uniparty wing of the GOP.
As the old cell phone commercial used to ask — can you hear me NOW?
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
