Is THAT the kind of spirit the gospel calls us to? Or have we been missing the point entirely?
This week keeps with the day’s theme in looking at what made that first generation of believers so thankful that they could sing God’s praises in prison … or even on the way to their own execution.
Something about that gratitude in even the worst situations was world-changing. If we’re serious about our desire to change the world, we might want to start be laying hold of the same spirit that energized them to live differently than the world they lived in.
