She took her shot... and disgraced herself
She looked SO smug in the court room… could she have had any idea how the case was going to blow up in her face?
Like so many others looking to leverage their conflicts with Trump as a ladder to fame or infamy, Fani Willis looked like she was riding her wave of infamy to political success, book deals, and whatever other rewards might wait for someone who serves the left by taking the scalp of a hated enemy.
When the case stalled, she threw her boyfriend under the bus, but stubbornly held onto the case, confident that she would prevail. Her own involvement in the case was challenged in court. This morning, the ruling has come down.
Not only is Fani Willis disqualified from overseeing this case, due to impropriety, but so is her entire office.

Now the case is in limbo.
Fani could appeal the decision and try to remain on it. Or, the case (which is technically still active and unresolved) could be assigned to some other DA’s office… if they can find anyone willing to take it on.
Further complicating the case is the fact that Trump will be sworn in as President in less than a month.
Fox News Digital caught up with him for comment:
“It was started by the Biden DOJ as an attack on his political opponent, Donald Trump,” he said, “They used anyone and anybody, and she has been disqualified, and her boyfriend has been disqualified, and they stole funds and went on trips.”
Trump said the case “should not be allowed to go any further.”
“There is no way such corrupt people can lead a case, and then it gets taken over by somebody else,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “It was a corrupt case, so how could it be taken over by someone else?”
“The case has to be thrown out because it was started corruptly by an incompetent prosecutor who received millions of dollars through her boyfriend – who received it from her – and then they went on cruises all the time,” Trump said, referring to Willis’ relationship with a former special prosecutor on her team, Nathan Wade. — FoxNews Digital
