How bad does a Chicago mayor have to fumble the ball before angry minority residents make city hall sound like a MAGA rally, invoking Tom Homan and demanding forensic audits?

Chicago’s mayor has chosen a side when it comes to MAGA vs Illegal aliens. He has chosen the illegals. But he STILL needs money to run his city.

It turns out his citizens don’t appreciate his spending priorities. Especially when the same mayor who is coming cap-in-hand for higher taxes from his citizens with a billion-dollar hole in the annual budget is ALSO pledging to pony up the legal expenses for illegals that ICE would deport.

The issue is no longer political for these Chicagoans. It is biting into aspects of their everyday life.

Tempers are flaring in here. This is the kind of decision that can do serious damage to the generational loyalty that certain voting blocks have had to the Democrat party. If the party does not value them the way they value the party… what was that line Trump used in a simliar situation? Oh, right: ‘What the hell do you have to lose?’
