The press no longer has to protect the Biden brand, now it’s about balancing trying to save face without making the Dems look like the corrupt, power-mad elder abusers they really are.
There’s only three weeks left on the clock. Everyone is looking for a way not to throw the Democrat brand under the bus, while avoiding the embarrassment of being the last one to admit what is obvious to all of us — that Joe Biden was already a lightweight in his prime.
We were all raising concerns he was mentally unfit for this job back before he was sworn in. The media locked their shields and claimed such accusations were anything from unfounded and overblown, to unfair partisan attacks, to ageism, to ‘deep fakes’.
So when a CNN panelist clutched her pearls and said she had no idea Joe was so far gone, Scott Jennings called Bull**** on her with his characteristic unflinching bluntness.

Does any one of us, even for a minute, believe that they would be having their Damascus Road experience of seeing the light on this issue if Joe Biden had remained in the race and (through some cruel twist of fate) had pulled a rabbit out of a hat for a re-election win?
These same presstitutes we now see clamoring to admit Joe really IS in rough shape would have carried on with their lines about how Joe is ‘sharp as a tack’, while quietly positioning his Veep for the day she takes over.
Do not mistake the abandoning a lie that no longer serves their purposes for a newfound discovery of the truth. These are the same people that mere weeks after cheerleading the Hillary campaign, as the Women’s March and MeToo movements were ramping up, suddenly found the ‘courage’ to speak openly about Bill Clinton’s serial mistreatment of women, sometimes criminally. The same media cowards who dared not speak of the Bill Clinton accusers who showed up for the debate suddenly realized just how bad Slick Willie really was the instant admitting that would serve as a useful cudgel to swing at Donald J Trump.
