WASTE FRAUD And ABUSE: Elon And Vivek Hit DC For Their First Official Meeting With Congress

After decades of politicians promising, we're looking for REAL solutions

With debt like this, if America was any other country, we would be demanding they institute an austerity plan and slash any program that is not essential to running the country.

But when it comes to maintain their own little fiefdoms, American politicians are different. ‘MY program is sacrosanct.’ You can’t cut that one. (The dirty little secret being, that program his 17 needless layers of administrative bloat and exists only to push the agenda of some donor class advocate or another.)

Those failures have consequences. Right now, the INTEREST payments on the national debt are higher than our total defense budget. We’re facing death by a thousand papercuts, and borrowing the metaphor of a middle-aged obese guy getting that bad news from his doctor, you can either take control and lose the weight, or you can finally face the truth of the situation IF you survive your first heart attack.

Congress can’t have a budget ballooning up to $6Trillion a year and claim they’ve been doing a good job of managing the budget. What does America do when it needs America to come alongside its OWN government and audit all of the projects that have been bleeding the country dry?

Elon and Vivek have been looking at the waste. The panel at Fox were talking about one of his big issues: hardly any federal employees coming to work.

The expectation is that self-selection from a lot of people unwilling to return to regular working hours will slash the workforce. Biden, of course, is looking for ways to ‘Trump-proof’ any attempts to make such changes. Lot of good it will do them when entire departments disappear.

The cameras were flashing when Elon and Vivek came in. It was a splashy event.

Rather than taking interest in the actual newsworthiness of the event itself journos were busy doing journo things:

As for the meeting itself? We’ve got a couple of initial signs of goodwill on the other side looking to cut (on the spending side, at least), but it’s going to be a much more difficult path forward having the honest conversations we’ll need to have on the programs side.

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
