YIKES: San Diego’s New ‘Sanctuary State’ Policy Makes Gavin Newsom Look Like MAGA

One way or the other, Tom Homan will have to 'unconfuse' these elected clowns.

This vote set out an unequivocal choice between law-abiding civilians, and violent criminal felons in the country illegally. Guess who the elected Dems backed?

It’s nothing new for the ‘bleeding heart activist’ type to rally around a foreign-born man or woman who’s keeping his head down, working hard, paying his bills, and sending money home to look after struggling relatives.

But with Tom Homan making it clear that his deportation plans will prioritize those who pose a danger to the civilian population, who have endangered lives with drunk driving, have committed acts of violence, even rape, murder and crimes against children, San Diego has proposed a bill blocking anyone in their city from cooperating with ICE.

Tom Homan has already made it clear that he will lay federal charges against anyone aiding and abetting criminal aliens. That might even include elected officials, but the left is so committed to the effort that the policy they just passed with a 3-1 vote will specifically include violent offenders of that sort as being covered by the ‘sanctuary’ policy of the city.

The lone Republican dissenter used his three minutes to show just how dangerous and stupid a plan this would be:

The text he captioned his video with:

Today’s outrageous decision to turn San Diego County into a “Super” Sanctuary County is an affront to every law-abiding citizen who values safety and justice. The Board of Supervisors’ 3-1 vote to embrace this radical policy is a direct betrayal of the people we are sworn to protect.

This reckless measure not only goes far beyond California’s already extreme Sanctuary State laws but actively endangers our communities by shielding illegal immigrant criminals from deportation. Consider this: under this policy, law enforcement is prohibited from notifying ICE about individuals, in custody, who have committed violent and heinous crimes, including: Rape and stalking, Assault and battery, Burglary, Child abuse and more.

I will not stand by while our communities are made less safe. I have already been in contact with the incoming Administration and will fight relentlessly to undo this disastrous policy and ensure that illegal immigrant criminals are removed from our neighborhoods.

And the video itself:

Some context about who was lobbying for it and why:

Of course, as we learned all too well in the Biden years, any law is only as good as your ability to enforce it. And that’s gonna be a problem for the elected clowns, as shown by this excerpt from a press release from the San Diego County Sheriff’s office:

State law allows for the Sheriff’s Office to share release dates for individuals who are in Sheriff’s custody only if they have qualifying convictions for specific serious, violent, or sex crimes. Government Code 7282.5 gives the authority for law enforcement to cooperate with immigration authorities, as prescribed. This includes the ability to provide information on individuals who have certain convictions which include but are not limited to sexual abuse, child abuse, battery, assault, possession, sale, distribution, manufacture or trafficking of controlled substances.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors are aware of the Sheriff’s position on this topic, as she has presented to them and the public during the annual Truth Act Forum on her policies and practices when it comes to following state law as it relates to immigration enforcement.

The Sheriff’s Office will not change its practices based on the Board resolution and policy that was passed at today’s meeting.

The Board of Supervisors does not set policy for the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff, as an independently elected official, sets the policy for the Sheriff’s Office. California law prohibits the Board of Supervisors from interfering with the independent, constitutionally and statutorily designated investigative functions of the Sheriff, and is clear that the Sheriff has the sole and exclusive authority to operate the county jails.

All these elected officials did was announce to their voters that protecting criminals from consequences is of greater importance than protecting non-violent citizens (and even residents) from violent offenders.

That’s the kind of open contempt over a meat-and-potatoes issue that can make a lockstep voter stop and reconsider how much the politicians he has backed really has his interests in mind.

I Talk Back to the Devil is an action manual that sports thirty pure fire proclamations against the powers of darkness in three different categories covering, the wealth, the walk and the warfare of the Christian against Satan and his defeated ilk.

This NEW book will put a serrated edge on the Christian’s prayer life in these troubled times. This slim tome will embolden the believer to stop taking Satan’s crap.
