YIKES: The Trump Assassination Hearings Just Went NUCLEAR (VIDEO)
Acting director Ronald Rowe RAGED when asked direct questions about the Presidential detail
With TWO near-miss attempts on Trump’s life, including one that nearly succeeded, the Secret Service needs to answer some hard questions. Instead, the acting director has been grandstanding.
It all began when Rowe was asked about appearing in a photo op while part of a protection detail… potentially endangering his Presidential and Vice Presidential protectees.
Rep Fallon did not get to finish his question before Rowe started shouting over the Congressman with the Constitutional right to exercise oversight over the behavior — and failures — of public servants.
Here’s the fiery part of the exchange that has gone viral online.

It makes FAR more sense if you see that exchange from the first moment.
Here is the full hearing (which you can watch as much of as you like) cued up to the relevant part at about 1 hour and 18 minutes into the entire hearing. (Tip: if you want to listen to longer sections, you can adjust the playback speed and get through more content in less time.)
Anyone watching the full hearing will see that most of the conversations were about how to address the known failures in those two public attempts on Trump’s life. Most of the interactions were polite and solution-based where you could see little daylight between a Democrat or Republican questioner.
But Rowe went nuclear when he was called out for standing as a dignitary in a presidential photo op when he should have been concerning himself in the overall protection of Trump, Biden, Vance and Harris, who were all present in the photo taken at Ground Zero.
Rowe never answered the question because he was too busy shouting indignantly at Fallon until the time ran out.
It isn’t clear yet who Trump wants leading the Secret Service when he takes over. But it is worth remembering that this guy is serving as ACTING leader… and would do well to remember who gets to ask the questions about how the Secret Service is being run.
For anyone interested, there were some interesting points raised about communications, about drones, and even breaking the Secret Service out of HHS, which has reportedly become far too large and unwieldy to manage well.
Speaking of those attempts on Trump’s life:
