Biden’s Final Days In Office

Good riddance to the End of an Error

In the aftermath of the Donald’s victory in the 2024 Presidential Election, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles posted the following message to Old Joe Biden on X:

“Mr. Biden, I need you to stand up, straighten your back and make some things shake before your departure.”
She then ended the message with “xoxo the women in America”.

It’s not exactly clear what Biles wanted Biden to do in regards to making things shake. But at any rate, it appears Biden has tried to grant her wish before he left office.

Here is a list of Biden’s actions during his final days in office:

  • He removed Cuba from a list of state sponsors of terrorism.
  • He approved American-supplied long-range missiles for strikes inside Russia by Ukraine, in addition to supplying Ukraine with American anti-personnel mines and imposing more sanctions on Russia’s energy sector.
  • He cancelled student loans for over 150,000 more borrowers (thus bringing the total number to over five million).
  • He extended deportation protections for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.
  • He imposed a ban on off-shore oil and gas drilling.
  • He created two national monuments in California in order to prevent mining and drilling (as well as the development of various energy sources).
  • He imposed rules regarding how artificial intelligence (AI) chips and models can be shared with foreign nations.
  • He pardoned his son Hunter, even though he had earlier stated he would not do so. And in the final 15 minutes of his administration, he also pardoned several other relatives, consisting of his brothers Francis and James (as well as James’s wife Sara), and his sister Valerie and brother-in-law John Owens.
  • He commuted the death sentences of almost all federal inmates on death row.
  • He commuted the sentences of 1,500 other individuals- the largest number ever done by any administration within a 24-hour period. One wonders if he even examined the cases of each of these individuals, or if he decided to rubber stamp such actions, perhaps even at the direction of his handlers.
  • He pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic via providing funding to the Wuhan Institute, as well as managing to cover his tracks while advocating draconian measures.
  • He pardoned General Mark Millay, who committed treason when he told the Chinese that if the Trump Administration ordered an attack on China, he would call and warn them.

It is no surprise that Old Joe Biden would try to do as much as damage as he could (possibly under orders from his handlers).

However, I do have one question: are these policy decisions what Simon Biles wanted when she called for the Biden Administration to “make some things shake”?
