MEME OF THE DAY: Trudeau Gives Resignation Speech, Gets ROASTED On Social Media

Did Jordan Peterson stick the final knife in his regime?

Public opinion has been turning against Justin Trudeau for a long time. His loud defiance now long gone, he ended his term with a whimper.

We’ll do a quick recap of Trudeau’s epic collapse for those who don’t follow what’s going on in America’s hat before we come together to laugh at him. If you want to go straight to the memes, skip down to ‘the fun part’ heading.

The ‘dull news’ part

In the US, you can tell when a Democrat politician’s goose is cooked by how willing the press — and bellweathers like Saturday Night Live are willing to openly mock them.

Canada’s version of that is seen on news satire shows like ‘This Hour Has 22 Minutes’ that has run on the federally owned Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) network for generations. When they are willing to show Trudeau presented as Trump’s obedient b****, eating a Big Mac with no hands under threat of a tariff hike, even the press is no longer willing to defend him from public criticism.

His party is in trouble at the polls. It takes 172 seats to have a majority government. A minority government is able to lead when it gains support from one of the other parties, which can be lost at any time, triggering the kind of nonconfidence vote we see in Germany that resulted in an early election.

They currently hold 160 seats, with the leftwing New Democrat Party having struck a deal to prop their government up. That deal has collapsed. If an election were held today, the ‘natural governing party of Canada’ (the Liberals) would finish in 3rd place behind Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives and the Quebec seperatist Bloc Quebecois party. It’s not even a sure thing that Justin would win his own seat.

Then Trump kicked him around like a hacky sack with his ’51st Governor’ trolling and the threat of tariffs. Then his finance minister resigned, making Justin out to be a child in not taking the economic impact of a possible trade war with the US seriously in his budget considerations.

Contrary to his own ridiculous statement from around the time he first started in 2015, the budget did NOT ‘balance itself’, as evidenced by crushing budget deficits and a host of problems stemming as a direct impact of bad polices.

The final knife Trudeau’s back just might have been a perfectly-timed interview with Canada’s Next Prime Minister on the Jordan Peterson podcast, with about 2.5 million views on YouTube alone, not to mention his audio formats.

Now for the fun part

For all his bluff and bluster, Justin has finally faced the music that he’s toast and will be remembered by Canadians (and not just his wife’s boyfriend) as an abject failure.

Even his resignation speech has been turned into a meme. Remember that photo of him in blackface?

It’s back!

Pierre Poilievre wasted no time calling him out as a coward:

Everyone else just basked in the schadenfreude. Not just Trump either, even though you know he couldn’t resist watching this pompous SOB get knocked down a peg or three after all the trash talking Justin has done over the years.

But everyone else is in on it too.

The Canadian answer to the NYPost had this on their front page (link):

This one is especially satisfying:

These two are great for the Truckers, too:

And this scene is actually video taken from that protest:

Yep. Every ‘violent insurrection’ has a fully functioning dance party with literally dancing in the streets.

The farmers are in on it, too, naturally:

Even the Left Coast — which is just as far gone as their granola-crunching counterparts to the south — is in on the mockery:

Back to Trump, where he’s giving Trudeau a goodbye worth of his esteemed parentage and position:
