He ran on taxes so simple you could file them on a postcard.
He wants a flat tax, because it’s fair to everyone.
They’re simple enough that you don’t need a degree in mathematics in order to file them. And the armies of tax professionals whose job it is to squeeze every drop out of the taxpayer will be able to unleash their talents in other ways… like helping businesses manage their cost-expense ratios, or debt financing, or other complex financial work that puts their talents to work in growing the economy instead of squeezing it
There are arguments for and against moving to a flat tax.
