Trump’s New White House Portrait Has Dropped… Notice Anything Special About It?

Conservatives are already calling it a YUGE middle finger to the left's attempt to destroy him

Remember how Obama’s awkward White House portrait had him weirdly posing in front of some bushes? Trump’s portrait goes a WHOLE other direction.

A lot of observers have noticed a striking resemblance to another famous photo of him, and wonder whether the pose was deliberately chosen in response to it.

Photographer Daniel Torok posted the official photos of both Trump and JD Vance as his pinned tweet with the caption ‘We are entering the GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA! ❤️🇺🇸’.

The shot of JD Vance is great. No question, brimming with confident determination.

But the one featuring Trump is what you might call ‘Next Level’.

And here’s the familiar photo this one is being compared to:

Donald Trump on Thursday unveiled his official photo as the 47th US president — an image that bears a striking resemblance to his viral 2023 mug shot.

In the new photo, the soon-to-be commander-in-chief is leaning slightly forward and looking defiantly at the camera, an eyebrow furrowed and lips sealed — a pose which drew comparisons with the picture taken of him in an Atlanta prison as he was facing charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Unlike the mug shot, where Trump is wearing his trademark red tie, this time around the tie is blue, and there is an American flag pin on the lapel of his navy blue jacket. —Punch

The lighting is different, sure. The tie and the lapel pin are different, too. But the look of determination on his face?

Pure gravitas. The face of a guy who would take a bullet in the ear, get back up and shout ‘fight fight fight’.
