With DOGE Already Causing Panic In DC Trump Turns His Sights On A YUGE Sacred Cow
The magnitude of this play cannot be exaggerated

The staggering wins Trump has already unveiled in his first 2 weeks in office are only the beginning. He’s already firing up the BBQ for another sacred cow.
The stakes have been high with DOGE, and they’re about to get higher under Trump’s new initiative.
Here’s a recap of what we’ve seen so far.
Elon Musk and DOGE have been cutting like a chainsaw through the corrupt and bloated Federal Bureaucracy… making good on Trump’s promise that he would drain the swamp.
They’re terminating leases for unused office spaces, they’re halting funding on international aid — until we can sort out the good from the bad. The CIA just lost its slush fund in the axing of USAID. (All the right people are up in arms about that.) We’ve got number-crunchers looking at sketchy NGOs with nepotistic connections to government agencies and we’re mapping out all of the political connections we’ve seen among such people. More projects are filling up their inbox every day.
How effective are they? So effective that we have people threatening the public servants involved in fulfilling the DOGE mandate… such people will be investigated and charged insofar as they have been found to have broken any laws.
The stakes have been high. They’re about to get higher.
If you thought Democrat allies got twitchy when a SCOTUS ruling threatened their Planned Parenthood cash cow, just imagine how they’re going to lose it when someone threatens one of their favorite sacred cows: the Department of Education.
You’d be hard-pressed to find any department whose mission cannot afford failure that spends more dollars for a more pathetic final outcome that the Department of Education. It’s filled with nothing but federal bloat, and it has shown itself unwilling or unable to solve the obvious problem that children are finishing school without a basic grasp of math and literacy — to say nothing of the more advanced skills that are so necessary to navigate through life.
But not to worry, they’ve really nailed down the important issues like making sure kids know all about a wide range of creative and unusual sexual activities and their attendant maladies. Even if conviction rates indicate those same public schools have an alarming percentage of sexual predators teaching their vulnerable students.
The REAL issue, the one that will surely have Democrats marching in the streets, is Trump taking steps to return control of children’s education to each respective state, where specific people can be held accountable for specific failures to deliver on educational metrics.
It’s already beginning. NBC covered a story about 55 workers put on administrative leave. Here’s part of the story without the ‘news’ outlet’s hysterical hand-wringing.
Sheria Smith, president of American Federation of Government Employees Local 252, which represents hundreds of Education Department employees, said that at least 55 employees had been placed on leave as of Friday evening and that she expected the number to grow as she learns more.
[…]
A letter to the affected employees, obtained by NBC News, said they would continue to receive their full salaries and benefits and would not be required or expected to do any work-related tasks or to come into the office during the leave. It also said their email access would be suspended. — NBC
This looks like the tip of the iceberg… he’s going BIGGER
News outlets claim he’s preparing an executive order directing his administration to move toward the ‘dismantling’ of the Department of Education.
As The Daily Wire describes it:
Top Trump officials are reportedly circulating a draft executive order to launch the process of dismantling the Department of Education.
The draft order would be a step toward fulfilling a key campaign promise President Donald Trump made to return education policy back to the states. The order would not direct the dismantling of the department, but request a plan to do so from the Education secretary, according to ABC News.
That takes us back to a promise Trump made in his own words to dismantle the whole thing and devolve education authority back to the individual states, exactly how Federalism designed it to work.
🚨 #BREAKING: President Trump will be signing an executive order to “dismantle” the Department of Education, per WaPo
“I will shut down the federal Department of Education, and we will move everything back to the states where it belongs!”
