YO IRAN: Trump Has Neither Forgotten Nor Forgiven The Bounty You Put On His Life

Buckle up. You're in for a bumpy ride

Life is going to get a whole lot more complicated for the world’s leading state sponsor of terror. The days of running circles around Joe Biden, with a few Iranian plants with security clearance embedded in key advisor roles is over.

Trump is back, and he’s got a score to settle. He’s survived one assassin’s bullet already, and he isn’t taking kindly to the dictatorial regime’s attempt on doing to him what they so nearly accomplished with the life of Salmon Rushdie.

For one thing, Trump has announced that if Iran were to make good on that threat to assassinate the sitting president of the United States, it would be an act of war.

Life is going to get a whole lot more complicated for the world’s leading state sponsor of terror. The days of running circles around Joe Biden, with a few Iranian plants with security clearance embedded in key advisor roles is over.

When asked about the plot on his life, at the 3:20 mark, he used the word ‘obliterated’ to describe what would happen in the event they tried to make good on that threat. Again and again he used that precise word as the description of what would become of Iran if they made the grave error of killing Trump or any of his officials.

But there’s something interesting in his tone as he signs the Executive Order for resuming Maximum Pressure on Iran. He’s not just offering a threat. There’s a carrot implied there. Trump has made it clear that Iran going nuclear is the outcome he’s trying to avoid, but if you listen carefully to the almost remorseful tone of him signing that Executive Order, and his reluctance to bring the hammer down on Iran’s government he seems to be inviting them to make some kind of a reasonable offer that could let him take this off the table.

He’s learned from his first time around — foreign leaders, just like any businessman across a board table, need an opportunity to walk away from a deal thinking they’ve gained something out of it. If Trump can find a win-win resolution that avoids Iran going nuclear, and motivates them to stop destabilizing their neighbors? That’s a win.

What would such a deal look like?

No way to know. But if that door is left open, there’s still a chance — however remote — that a deal might be struck.

But Trump has not forgotten their attempt to kill him and Secretary Pompeo. If they’re dumb enough to try it, there will be consequences. And if you’ve not been paying attention… the hold that regime has on their people is NOT what it once was.
