If you look around the modern American Church, it sure looks like a lot of Christians have been handed the script to the wrong show.
They act like pledging your head to heaven means signing up to be one of the mall cart riders in WALL-E, rather than the rescue party in Saving Private Ryan.
The Enemy of our souls knows you are in a fight — even if YOU don’t. So you’d better kit up before you get mowed down.
On the upside, when we square off against El Diablo, the ONLY way we do it as sitting ducks is by staying ignorant of the Arsenal of Heaven we’ve got at our disposal.
Remember when Jesus said the ‘gates of Hell’ would not prevail? That’s because HE understood that he was sending US to storm every citadel Hell has established. Yes, even THAT one — the one you like to think of as impregnable.
And the Captain of Heaven’s Host wouldn’t throw us into a task like that unless he gave us ALL the tools we’d need to succeed. Congrats, young Christian. You’re already loaded for bear.
But if you want to survive the battle, you’ll want to get proficient.
