Global Left Tries To ‘Own’ MAGA By Going All-In With Zelensky — Who’s Gonna Tell Them?

When Zelensky got bounced out of the Oval Office, he continued his World Tour where heads of state as diminutive as he is rallied behind him with pledges of support.

Trudeau — who is on his way out as party leader, and whose government has been shut down since the 6th of January while Libs coronate a new king party leader, has made a decision (with zero consultation with the government) that Canada is going all-in to support Ukraine, even if Trump and America don’t.

Asked if he’s willing to put Canadian boots on the ground, he answered: “everything is on the table.”

The pseudo-soviet from the UK set aside a couple of billion dollars and added ‘planes in the air’ to Justin’s ‘boots on the ground’.

Meanwhile, NATO is looking at ways to raise the money to help Ukraine without America sending another red cent.

World leaders are imagining an America-less mutual defense cabal.

That’ll REALLY show those Americans.

No, no. PLEASE don’t act like nations of grown-ups and take up the responsibility of defending European interests on your own dime. No, no. Anything but that.

The Polish leader put it in perspective when he said that 500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to protect them from 140 million Russians.

And yet, for all of that, it sounds like Zelensky came out of the weekend willing to play ball with Trump… on Trump’s terms.

President Zelensky has told the BBC the minerals deal between the US and Ukraine remains “ready” to sign despite the public showdown between him and the Trump administration on Friday.
He was asked about the future of the deal, which would grant the US access to Ukraine’s rare mineral reserves, by Laura Kuenssberg.
“It is our policy to continue what happened in the past, we’re constructive,” he continues, “if we agreed to sign the minerals deal, we’re ready to sign it.”
“The agreement that’s on the table will be signed if the parties are ready,” he concludes. — BBC

If Zelensky comes back ready for a peace deal? Trump and his America First Policy wins.

If he gets upset with America and looks for someone else to have his back in a pointless, griding war of attrition with Russia? That saves American blood and treasure from being pointlessly wasted when there are other real threats looming on the horizon… ranging from financial woes to foreign powers.

Trump has positioned himself so that America has an upside no matter WHAT the people he’s trying to negotiate with want to do.

And if he teaches NATO to stand on their own two feet in the process so that we’ll have a useful ally to call on if we ever DO get into a serious global conflict? That alone is practically a miracle of diplomacy.

The Never-Trumpers are so blinded by their perpetual outrage machine that they can’t even see things in any terms other than reflexively hating anything Trump does.
