Veteran’s Affairs: Doug Collins Blasts Smug Look Off Of NeverTrump Journo’s Face

CNN's Kaitlin Collins vs. Doug Collins -- it isn't even close

How rude of Doug to shoot her partisan talking points with, you know, actual facts and figures.

If anyone actually doubted the political leanings of Kaitlin Collins, the last election cycle will have ripped off that mask, when she tangled with both Trump AND JD.

She’s back at it. This time, she’s trying to trip up Doug Collins in questions that sound more like accusations than anything like an authentic search for answers about the Veterans Association.

Funny how journalists will wrap themselves in patriotism when they want to swing it as a cudgel against the GOP, but are happy to throw them under the bus when they’re inconvenient. But we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves. Let’s begin with the first of two clips, and the gotcha question.

Job cuts at the VA? Oh NO!

And is Congress being left out of the question?

Nice try Kaitlan. We’ve heard your rhetorical talking points. Now let’s look the actual facts. Wait for the DEVASTATING phrase ‘metrics never improved’ at the end, and how that completely unspools her accuation.

But wait… there’s more!

Given the chance to step on a rake and embarrass themselves in public, journos lately never seem to hesitate.

Moments earlier, she is trying to bait him into throwing darts against Trump over the Signal scandal. He turned it right around on her and absolutely pantsed her and CNN publicly on their own station.

She’s used to being the aggressor in this sort of conversation, chasing down a question-ducker with follow-up questions that, whether they are answered or avoided seem like an answer either way.

Doug has just turned that game back on her and on the recent judgement against CNN in the suit brought by… you guessed it… a veteran. His name is Zachary Young, and he cleaned up on a defamation suit, scoring a $5 Million judgement in damages. (In case anyone is still doubtful as to whether CNN is prone to politically-biased malicious reporting.)

If ANYONE should speak on the behalf of Veterans in forums like this one, you might think it would be the Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs.
