HILARIOUS: Media Loses Minds As Trump Finds The BEST Way To Troll Their Border Blindness

The single most powerful tool the leftist media has had in their arsenal has been control over what IS and is NOT a story. What’s left of that tool is now being ripped from their hands.

How many victims of fentanyl poisoning can you name off the top of your head. How many people raped or killed by criminals — organized or otherwise — do you see mentioned every day?

And yet, I’ll bet I can use the generic phase ‘Maryland Man’ and you’ll know exactly who I’m talking about without any further context.

That is the power of the press to shape a narrative. It’s not what it used to be, but it’s still there. And that power is present both in what is amplified and what is left unspoken.

For years, the media has worked very hard to shape the border narrative to perfectly match whichever talking points Dems and their donors have directed them to be. They’re not bad people. More honest and hardworking than regular Americans. Even to raise questions about the second-order effects of illegal aliens is a heinous act of racism.

They refused to mention the cartel involvement or how they began taking hold of cities. Ignore the crime sprees. Cook the books on reporting of crime, even at the FBI level, and call it a ‘win’. As if the rest of us couldn’t see the game the press was playing, just to protect their political allies.

Just like they did with Biden… until he flipped from asset to liability. Then they threw him overboard and let him sink like the anchor he had become.

Because they refused to talk about those illegals, or the crimes they committed, the White House has placed a long row of mugshots with their associated crimes so conspicuously that the press cannot help but have some of them in the shot.

Here is Stephen Miller explaining the media’s conspicuous lack of either curiosity or empathy in the atrocities these illegals have committed as a direct result of the open border policy.

The simplest explanation is that they work backward from what can be gained politically.

Stories connecting the Open Borders policy the whole Dem party has endorsed for years now to crime sprees looks bad. So you have to find some reason the posters that expose that hypocrisy are in poor taste, or violate some kind of a journalistic standard.

It’s a one-way ratchet, of course. Remember the left’s calls for ‘due process’ when people loitering on the Capitol lawn had their names run through the wringer?
