Judge Who Blocked Trump’s Election Order Has Previous History Of Judicial Activism… Here’s The 411

William Orrick was one of 4 judges to chuck wrenches into Trump policy yesterday

If there was any doubt as to the ‘forum shopping’ of lawfare efforts from the NeverTrump Resistance, here’s some additional evidence.

There were another 4 orders issued yesterday telling Trump to cease and desist what many of us would argue was his basic function as President.

One blocked his instructions to require proof of citizenship before voting or receiving government assistance. Two others interfered with his reversal of DEI mandates. The last one, which we will take a closer look at, was Trump’s order to withhold federal dollars from ‘sanctuary’ cities that openly defied Federal Immigration law.

You will recall that Obama went to court against Arizona — and WON — to fight for the federal government’s constitutional supremacy over questions of immigration and enforcement. For the activist left, that’s a ratchet that only turns in the direction of illegals swarming over our border.

Let’s start with the order itself.

So, who exactly IS this judge?

Rod Martin did some digging and came up with a thread.

Some of the points he raises:

Donated $30,800 to Obama’s 2008 victory fund, raised another $200k beyond that.
He’s also been a bundler/fundraiser for Bill, Hillary, Feinstein, the DNC

Activism:
– Chaired or co-chaired lawyers groups advocating for Kerry & Obama. Would be the one to introduce Kamala at fundraisers.

He even goes on to describe the potentially illegal role the activist judge played in the case against the ‘baby parts’ documentary writers. Odd how an abortion case championed by Kamala Harris just happened to come before such a good friend of the Democrat party, isn’t it?

What an amazing coincidence.

Just like all these OTHER ones we’ve seen before and since.
