OOPS: Harvard’s Latest DEI Move Makes Tampon Tim Look Like The Clown He Is

Tampon Tim Walz — the guy who was dopey enough that he could be picked as Kamala’s impeachment insurance — thinks he has the answers to Democrat woes.

On the Eve of Trump’s 100th day in office, the guy who spend 2024 riding Kamala’s coattails into the dustbin of history has thoughts about Trump and his own party’s failures.

He thinks the Democrats have to get better at messaging — because ideologues can NEVER doubt their policies — and better at listening to what really matters to the people.

“Do what I can do to help define the Democratic Party as a party that’s there to protect rule of law, personal freedoms and the things we care about,” Walz said of his plans before the 2028 election cycle.

Walz said he and the party failed to do just that in 2024.

“He correctly identified their pain, and then he said he was going to fight for them, and then he picked the exact worst solution,” Walz, referring to Trump. “The first two things outweighed the results, which is a really stunning thing to think about.”

But in the face of calls for the Democratic Party to moderate and move away from cultural flashpoints, Walz defended liberal positions on social issues including diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and transgender rights.

“Diversity and inclusion is really good for us, and equity is kind of a founding principle,” Walz said. “How did we get that defined in a way that meant we were taking jobs from other people?”

“We’ve seen what their DEI looks like. It’s a pretty bunch of incompetent white dudes that are in the administration right now,” Walz added. — The Crimson

For a guy lecturing his party on ‘listening’ more, the hapless Tampon Tim hasn’t the slightest self-awareness, nor is his finger on the pulse of culture.

Of ALL the days he could have chosen to give this cringey finger-wagging lecture about messaging, he chose the very day that Harvard instituted one very specific policy change.

It was a policy change made public just one hour before this interview. For that, we go to another Harvard Crimson article:

Harvard will immediately rename its Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging to “Community and Campus Life,” the University announced Monday.

The move comes as the Trump administration continues its campaign to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion programming at universities. In two April letters outlining demands to Harvard, federal agencies urged the University to dismantle its DEI programming — or lose billions of dollars in federal funding.

Harvard publicly rebuffed the demands and sued the administration over the $2.2 billion funding freeze it imposed in response. But the renaming of OEDIB indicates that Harvard may be willing to concede ground as DEI initiatives face a tidal wave of political hostility.

The change was announced in a Monday afternoon email from Sherri A. Charleston — formerly Harvard’s chief diversity officer, now retitled as the University’s chief Community and Campus Life officer. Half an hour after Charleston’s email was sent, the OEDIB website did not reflect changes to its name or objectives. — Harvard Crimson

When even HARVARD is backpedaling from your party’s hard-left policies, maybe it’s not a question of ‘messaging’ or ‘listening’. Maybe you’ve just fallen off the left-hand side of the map into abject irrelevance.

Of course, coming to grips with that would take a whole OTHER kind of ‘listening’, wouldn’t it?

And it might take the kind of pounding the Dems took from Reagan in ’84 to come to their senses. For now, they think they can rebrand, learn to tell prettier lies, and keep the grift going.

If DOGE does what it’s been built for… that might be a problem for them.
