Trump Welcomes South African Refugees Fleeing Government Violence… Woke Church Goes Full NeverTrump

The left loves refugees... just not THOSE ones!

As recently as January, Trump was being lectured about the necessity of welcoming refugees to America. How quickly they change their tune when he welcomes the ‘wrong’ refugees.

In case you were wondering, their open borders policy was never about ‘asylum’. It was always about flooding the country with politically exploitable grievance groups.

Why else do you think the same party that actively fought in court to expel the Romeike Family on one hand, but lined up in solidarity with MS-13 gang-bangers on the other?

With South Africa seizing the ancestral farmland from the descendants of Dutch settlers, with targeted ethnic violence sharply rising — homes burned, women raped, people murdered in cold blood just because they’re the wrong color — Trump has offered sanctuary for those fleeing violence.

And they’ve already begun arriving.

And that self-important scold who tried to make a name for herself when Trump was sworn in? She’s suddenly changed her tune. Refugees fleeing ethnically-motivated violence are suddenly NOT a priority.

In a striking move that ends a nearly four-decades-old relationship between the federal government and the Episcopal Church, the denomination announced on Monday (May 12) that it is terminating its partnership with the government to resettle refugees, citing moral opposition to resettling white Afrikaners from South Africa who have been classified as refugees by President Donald Trump’s administration.

In a letter sent to members of the church, the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe — the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church — said that two weeks ago the government “informed Episcopal Migration Ministries that under the terms of our federal grant, we are expected to resettle white Afrikaners from South Africa whom the U.S. government has classified as refugees.”

The request, Rowe said, crossed a moral line for the Episcopal Church, which is part of the global Anglican Communion that boasts among its leaders the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a celebrated and vocal opponent of apartheid in South Africa. — ReligionNews

Imagine the Episcopal Church thinking it has any moral authority left to finger-wag about ‘principles’.  That ship has long since sailed.

That won’t stop them from trying.

Here are some lefties on CNN saying the quiet part out loud… and displaying their ignorance in the process.

They’ve lived there for 400 years. They do not HAVE some hypothetical other homeland in Europe to which they can return.

As for the ‘no genocide’ claim? Do they not even know about the targeted murders? These refugees have got a stronger claim of genocide than some of their other favorite groups.

They are so busy trying to discredit Trump with accusations of racial biases, they haven’t bothered to check their own.
