ABOVE THE LAW: One Elected Dem Indicted, With More Stormclouds Brewing On The Horizon

Where's that 'red line' of yours now, Jeffries?

Laying hands on law enforcement was a bad idea. But she’s not the only elected Dem finding herself in hot water right now.

We’ve got ourselves three criminality stories that directly involve the Dems and illegal immigration.

Story #1 — Rep LaMonica McIver Indicted

Dollar-Store Obama was thumping his chest about a ‘red line’ that would be crossed if the feds DARED to charge McIver. But just like the original Obama, Hakeem Jeffries watched that red line be crossed, and did nothing about it.

Rep LaMonica McIver was indicted by a grand jury on three criminal counts. What’s Hakeem gonna do about it, other than help her clean out her desk?

…A federal officer then informed the Mayor that he was not authorized to be in the facility’s secured area, and issued the Mayor multiple warnings that he would be arrested if he did not leave. McIver and other members of the Congressional Delegation overheard this conversation and challenged the officer, protesting the Mayor’s removal. When officers moved in to arrest the Mayor, McIver and others surrounded the Mayor and prevented the officers from handcuffing him.

After the Mayor was escorted outside the secured area, law enforcement officers made a second attempt to arrest him. At this time, someone in the crowd yelled “circle the mayor.” McIver then faced the Mayor and placed her arms around him in an effort to prevent HSI from completing the arrest. During her continued attempts to thwart the arrest, McIver slammed her forearm into the body of one law enforcement officer and also reached out and tried to restrain that officer by forcibly grabbing him. McIver also used each of her forearms to forcibly strike a second officer.

If convicted, McIver faces a maximum penalty of 8 years in prison on the forcible impeding and interfering charge set forth in Count One of the indictment. She faces a maximum penalty of 8 years in prison on the forcible impeding and interfering charge set forth in Count Two. She also faces a maximum penalty of 1 year in prison for Count Three. — DOJ

Funny how New Jersey Democrats keep getting arrested, isn’t it? Maybe voters should run that math in their heads for a while the next time they head to the polls.

Still on the topic of Democrats opposing ICE, but this time for a different reason, we turn our attention to…

Story #2 — Elected Democrat admits to being Illegal Immigrant

This kind of chest-thumping might score you points with the Democrats’ hard-left base. But it’s a spectacularly stupid way to draw the unwanted attention of law enforcement… especially when running for office required the breaking of laws beyond illegally crossing the border, or fraudulently entering the country.

In Minnesota, Rep Kaohly Vang Her was arguing for Minnesota’s state health care to be opened up to illegal immigrants. She made the case personal, by explaining that, strictly speaking, she arrived in America under fraudulent terms.

In subsequent public statements, her family has since become naturalized citizens. With this admission, it would be entirely within the law for someone at ICE to invoke 8 USC 1451. If fraud was involved in gaining naturalization, that naturalization can be revoked. Obviously, if you aren’t a citizen, you don’t meet the bare criteria of holding public office.

That same provision holds true for a certain Congresswoman who may or may not have married her own brother to facilitate immigration fraud.

How this one plays out remains to be seen

Story Three — the money behind the riots

Except for Senator Fetterman, whose mental acuity is suddenly a concern Dems are willing to talk about, not a single Democrat is terribly bothered by the criminal uprisings done in the name of opposing Trump’s crackdowns on illegal immigration. Fetterman, who has broken ranks with his party on the open border policy, the Israel issue, and (now), actual riots, is the only one to give more than a milquetoast ‘we don’t condone violence’ lawyerspeak to protect a general approval of what would be generously described as ‘rioting in the streets’. Some would prefer to call this an organized uprising.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation said on Monday that it will look into any organized effort to create chaos in Los Angeles, as anti-ICE riots occurred over the weekend.

“We’re investigating anyone who crosses the line from first-amendment protected activity to violence and are prepared to prosecute anyone who assaults a federal officer or causes damage to government property,” Laura Eimiller, media coordinator for the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, told Fox News Digital in an email.
