If Trump is giving benefits 'for the rich'... why do the poor keep benefiting from his policies?

It must be absolutely baffling to the Democrats who keep assuring us that Trump’s policies are going to be catastrophic for the workaday American and will only benefit fatcat billionaires… when the facts and data keep contradiction them
Trump’s Treasury Secretary explains why that’s happening:

Real wages for hourly workers have gone up by almost 2% in the last 5 months.
Partly because he’s promoting job growth, bringing more investiment and knocking down regulations. And partly because he’s returining the artificially inflated workforce that was thrown off by Biden’s open borders policy back to more natural levels.
It’s quite a switch from the Biden era where inflation was FAR outpacing wage growth, so that even though it ‘looked’ like you were getting pay raise, your buying power kept shrinking and shrinking.
Why have the working poor started voting Republican? Maybe it has something to do with how outraged Democrats get when DOGE wants to cut programs like this one that went to USAID:
So that ordinary people aren’t crippled by the national debt.
