YO DEMS: Did Trump Just Make The Kennedy Center ‘Great Again’?
Trump promised to put it back on track... has he already done it?

If there’s anything that Trump truly understands, it’s how to make a splashy announcement. The Kennedy Center was a perfect example.
The left near lost their collective minds when Trump appointed himself Chair of their beloved Kennedy Center.
When their tantrums had run their course, he ‘relented’ and named Richard Grenell as chair in his place. As if he had enough spare hours in his day to micromanage the Kennedy Center. Best guess? He was using the lightning rod approach of generating outrage, only to give a ‘second and less objectionable’ replacement. Realistically, if Grenell had been the first name Trump floated, they might STILL be trying to take the scalp of that appointment.
They’ve done some housekeeping since they’ve gone there. And what did they find?
Internal documents obtained by The Daily Wire reveal the extent of the deficit spending that occurred at The Kennedy Center under the Biden administration — a scheme that left the performing arts center deep in debt and could open leaders up to potential legal action.
Kennedy Center President Richard Grenell this week told the organization’s board of directors that, under the direction of recently departed president Debra Rutter, the group “found $26 million in phantom revenue, fake revenue.”

Arduin, known as one of the nation’s leading budget experts, came to the Kennedy Center after stints in top roles across the country. She’s been brought in to right the budgets of California under Arnold Schwarzenegger, New York under George Pataki, and Florida under Jeb Bush.
In her months at the Kennedy Center, she determined that Kennedy Center leadership “veiled the fiscal year 2025 budget with $26 million in fictitious revenue and did not properly disclose such to the Board,” according to a letter to Grenell. In short, Arduin writes in the letter, “the Board believed that they were in good faith passing a balanced budget.” — DailyWire
The Daily Wire article has a lot more to say about the malfeasance that happened under previous management. Now pivoting from the problem that did exist to the solutions they are trying to move ahead with, we have some glimmers of good news:
Instead of offering content that caters ONLY to the small segment of people who would be drawn to Art House and opera, the Kennedy Center has made a conscious decision to broaden its appeal, making it relevant to wider audiences, and be more financially sustainable.
They announced, for example, a family-friendly event this past weekend that was so popular they opened a second screening.
Families from across the country gathered at the Kennedy Center for two special screenings of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 by Angel Studios. With appreciation to our sponsors—Moxie Pest Control and the Museum of the Bible—for supporting an evening of inspiration, faith, and… pic.twitter.com/1mgcEEo8wr

That success is only PART of the story.
Rumors that shows were being censored and/or canceled were proven false:
They’ve still got the sorts of high culture events that purists will expect of such a venue:
And best of all?
They’ve done it all while balancing the budget.
It’s like a microcosm of what Trump hopes to turn the whole country around again. And do you notice who you DON’T hear right now? Democrats raging about how the Kennedy Center has been ‘ruined’.
Because the hard fact that America is waking up to is this: their people are the ones who ruin great institutions and run them into the ground. Our side?
We’re more interested in making them Great Again.
As it turns out… people tend to like leaders that actually get results.
