Booted From The Military For Dissing Communism Under Biden… He Got A NEW Job Under Trump!
His book title is all the referral some of us would have needed to like this pick
In the Cold War, our armed forces FOUGHT against the Communists. Under Biden, you couldn’t even criticize Marxism without paying a price. Now that Trump’s back in charge? That attitude is being kicked to the curb.
It’s certainly been a wild ride for Space Force Lt. Col. Lohmeier. He’s gone from summit to plummet to back on top of the world.
When Trump commissioned the Space Force, that opened a new position in which Lt. Col. Lohmeier could serve.
Once there, like so many other successful professionals, he tried his hand at writing a book based on his insights and expertise, which led to promoting it on a podcast — which, in turn, led to the unemployment line for a ridiculous reason.
Per CNN’s reporting at the time:
Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier joined The Steve Gruber show to discuss his new book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military,” which alleges that Marxist ideologies are becoming widespread within the armed forces. He expounded on those concerns in the podcast.
“Since taking command as a commander about 10 months ago, I saw what I consider fundamentally incompatible and competing narratives of what America was, is and should be,” Lohmeier said. “That wasn’t just prolific in social media, or throughout the country during this past year, but it was spreading throughout the United States military. And I had recognized those narratives as being Marxist in nature.”
When pressed on what exactly he meant, Lohmeier decried the New York Times 1619 Project, a historical look at how slavery formed America’s institutions, as “anti-American.” — CNN
The book title, in case you missed it in the block of text is worth repeating: Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military, and yes, it has a 5-star Amazon rating.
The 1619 Project he was criticizing isn’t just subversive and Anti-American. Its bold claims and assertions have been proven to be less factually reliable than the gossip and Bigfoot sighting magazines you might find in your grocery store.
Calling out a subversive threat is fundamentally part of the oath he took. But is Commander-in-Chief (or whoever was actually calling the shots) was hellbent on seeding an ideology so deeply into the various permanent aspects of government that it would ‘Fundamentally Transform’ America, just like a certain disciple of the Underground Weathermen had wanted when HE served as America’s 44th President.
That was May of 2021, shortly before Biden began the purge of independent thinkers who refused to take ‘the jab’ just because the Commander-in-Chief said so.
Skip ahead to 2025, with Biden and his cronies firmly in history’s rearview mirror and what do we see?
In a 52-46 party-line vote Thursday, the Senate approved former Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier to become the under secretary of the Air Force.
The Defense Department today gained a new leader as Matthew Lohmeier was confirmed by the Senate to be undersecretary of the Air Force.
Nominated for the position by President Donald J. Trump, Lohmeier is a 2006 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Space Force. While in uniform, he racked up over 1,200 hours in both the T-38 Talon and F-15C Eagle aircraft and also commanded a space-based missile warning system squadron.
“I’d like to welcome Matt to the team. His prior service makes him an excellent fit to help us strengthen the readiness and warrior ethos of the Air and Space Forces in order to defend our nation,” said Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink. “I’m impressed by his dedication and focus on service culture and grateful for his advocacy for department resources and modernization, and I know he will be a great asset to our total force airmen, guardians and military families.”
Working alongside Meink, Lohmeier will be responsible for the day-to-day affairs of the Air Force Department. That role includes the organizing, training and equipping of some 700,000 military and civilian personnel, as well as overseeing more than $200 billion in assets. — DoD
Trump giving him this position was actually the fulfillment of a campaign promise. Military dot com, whose editorial staff often seem to take a dim view of MAGA politics and who seem unconvinced that woke politics were taking root in military culture, wrote some surprisingly helpful context when his name came up earlier this year:
When Matthew Lohmeier took the stage at a town hall in North Carolina in October, he looked at former President Donald Trump and told him that he had been fired from the Space Force — the service branch created under the president’s first administration — because he criticized diversity initiatives in the military.
In front of the crowd of supporters, Lohmeier also told the former and soon to be future president that he should establish a “special task force, office or position” to make sure that there aren’t any more diversity, equity or inclusion efforts throughout the Department of Defense. — Military
With Lohmeier on the job, I wouldn’t expect anyone in uniform to be posting videos while wearing a ‘dog’ mask, or events where men are encouraged to wear high heels for — whatever the hell the point of that exercise was.
But sure, Military dot com writers, why would we *possibly* think leadership opining about ‘white rage’ and recruiters dressing in drag could possibly be symptoms of a deliberate and politicized cultural pivot?
If he can successfully accomplish, under Trump, what he set out to advocate for in his book, he will have been ‘exactly’ the right pick for the position.
