Chip Gaines vs. Jesus On Marriage

Chip painted all his Christian followers who disagreed with him as homophobes.

Chip and Joanna Gaines, who single-handedly Made Waco Great Again with their epic TV shows, have pissed their faith-based base off by featuring a homosexual couple with adopted kids on their latest television venture.

Chip responded to his crowds’ dismay by calling his Christian followers “haters” … full of “vitriol” because they weren’t down with having another gay couple foisted on their family via the Babylonian Idiot Box. Yep, Chip painted all his Christian followers who disagreed with him as homophobes.

Yo, Chip … I’m not a homophobe. Matter of fact, I’m not scared of anything except God, of course. Being an artist who used to model in Miami, who now lives in the Austin area, I’ve been amicably interfacing with gay people all my adult life.

That said, the Scripture, inspired by a loving God (2Tim. 3:16), calls homosexuality a heinous sin (Rom. 1:27) that’s to be repented of, not enjoyed on TV. By the way, the Scripture not only condemns homosexuality but also jetbalsts greed, envy, lust, murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossip, slander, arrogance, adultery, gluttony, boastfulness, rebellion against parents, and being unloving and unmerciful (Rom. 1:26-31). Y’know … all the other stuff we watch on Netflix while protesting Chip’s show.

So, clearly, according to the Verbum Dei, Jehovah is not down with same sex penchants, and as aforementioned, homosexuality ain’t the only vice that’s verboten. Matter of fact, the sin that got The Son the most miffed while he walked the mean streets of Galilee was Pharisaism. Google “Matthew 23” if you don’t believe me. Indeed, Jesus reserved his most scathing anathemas for self-righteous religious people who didn’t think their poop stinks and who viewed all others with disdain.

If Chip’s a true believer, then the Word of God has gotta be the brother’s guide and not what The View thinks is groovy. The Scripture is not foggy in regards to what makes up a biblical marriage: it’s one biological dude and dudette. Period. Saying that doesn’t make a Christian “hateful” … “vitriolic” … or “judgy”. If negating the biblical legitimacy of homosexual marriage makes one a hater, then label our loving Savior as a hater because Christ himself said legit marriages are between an Adam and Eve, not an Adam and Steve. Check it out …

Some Pharisees came to Jesus, testing HIm and asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?” And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” (Matt. 19:3-6)

Let’s slow crawl through those verses, shall we, Chip? In regards to marriage, the Son of God said …

He (that would be God) who created them (Adam and Eve) from the beginning made them male and female. That’s a biological boy and a biological girl, capise?

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”. Jesus said what constitutes a true marriage, “becoming one flesh”, is a man joined to his wife, not Crispin, his sassy fraternity brother, comprende?

And finally, for those slow on the uptake regarding what Jesus said a biblical marriage is, he reiterates his point that this is what “God has joined together”. Again, for the slow, it’s a man and a woman.

If that pisses you off, Chip, then you have a problem with Jesus, not with me.

Finally, for Chip and others who think standing up for biblically-defined marriages makes one unloving, please note that the “Love Chapter”, First Corinthians 13 says in verses 4-6 that … “Love … does not rejoice in unrighteousness (that’s sin defined by the Scripture, not CNN), but rejoices with the truth.”

In addition, Paul said that true biblical love “Abhor(s) what is evil; cling(s) to what is good.” (Rom. 12:9) Again, that’s good and evil as defined by the Word of God and not the Bravo Channel.

My advice to Mr. Chip is to stick to shiplap and Making Waco Great Again and quit calling your Bible-based Christian audience judgy a-holes just because they disagree with you and Cher’s view of marriage.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
