ICE makes them angry. Deportations make them sad. But when Trump announced ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ they nearly lost their minds.
Naturally, the meme teams got to work to do their poart in whipping that frenzy up into full insanity.
Let’s start with the Alligator Alcatraz itself.
Trump showed up in the middle of a really busy week to announce he would be opening a new detention center in Florida.
Here he is taking a tour with Gov DeSantis
Some of the clowns decrying the ‘development’ of the Everglades have no idea that there is already a runway built there decades ago, as part of a package of 37 acres of developed land. DeSantis used his emergency powers to repurpose that land as a center to hold people ICE has captured, as well as having people deputized for the task of adjudicating the cases to determine who goes and who stays.
Anyone ordered to leave already has a convenient runway to assist in helping them on the way to their ‘forever’ home, wherever that may be.
While the left freaks out that there is nothing that kicking their feet or banging their fists will do to change this fact, the meme-makers have put together some fun animation and set Alligator Alcatraz to some especially ‘triggering’ music.
