TITLE IX: California Could Lose Billions As They Pick Gender As The Hill They’re Willing To Die On
They keep picking the small side of 80-20 issues

As recently as March, Gavin made statements on Charle Kirk’s podcast sounding like support for keeping men out of women’s sports. Now, California is drawing a line in the sand over keeping them in.
It’s a decision that will cost an already cash-strapped state billions in revenue impounded for their being in violation of the Constitution.
This is a fight that has been a long time in coming.
At the end of May, the DOJ took first steps in action to enforce Title IX in California, with letters of legal notice being sent.
RIVERSIDE, California – The Justice Department today sent letters of legal notice to California Attorney General Rob Bonta, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, Jurupa Unified School District, and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) that it is opening an investigation to determine whether Title IX, a landmark federal civil rights law, is being violated by AB 1266, a state law permitting males to participate on female sports teams at state schools.
Last week, after the DOJ found them to be in violation, the DOE moved to the next step in the process.
“Although Governor Gavin Newsom admitted months ago it was ‘deeply unfair’ to allow men to compete in women’s sports, both the California Department of Education and the California Interscholastic Federation continued as recently as a few weeks ago to allow men to steal female athletes’ well-deserved accolades and to subject them to the indignity of unfair and unsafe competitions,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. “The Trump Administration will relentlessly enforce Title IX protections for women and girls, and our findings today make clear that California has failed to adhere to its obligations under federal law. The state must swiftly come into compliance with Title IX or face the consequences that follow.”
As a result of the noncompliance finding, OCR has issued a proposed Resolution Agreement to CDE and CIF to resolve their Title IX violations. OCR has offered both entities an opportunity to voluntarily agree to change these unlawful practices within 10 days or risk imminent enforcement action, including referral to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for proceedings. — Department Of Education

And to be honest, the odds aren’t looking great for Cali on this one.
