Remember that line in Rocky IV, where the Russian lands blow after blow, but Rocky keeps coming? ‘He’s not human. He’s like a piece of iron’. That’s pretty close to how Joe Rogan and Theo Von looked at Trump.
As a guy who fought mixed martial arts, hosted ‘Fear Factor’ and covered championship fights, Joe has been around enough real badasses in his day not to be easily fooled by a counterfeit.
But something about how Trump takes a beating and keeps coming has him absolutely gobsmacked.
Watch the exchange between Rogan and Theo Von where they look, obviously, at the epic response after taking a bullet that was marked for his murder, only to stand up and defiantly pump his fist saying ‘fight, fight, fight’.
