Was there ANY legal justification to prompt it?
The left loves to point its finger at the VERY public raid in Mar-a-Lago and claim that it is evidence that Trump was a bad guy… when the evidence is REALLY stacked against those who planned it.
Remember that old ‘you can indict a ham sandwich’ line? We’ve had evidence for a LONG time that the DOJ was going out of its way, not to execute a lawful warrent, but to entrap, embarrass, criminalize, and politically destroy Donald Trump.
The mugshot that was released to the public might be the thing that convinced the average American this was a dishonest gimmick played up by people who hate Trump… leading to an unexpected surge of popularity among demographics that don’t normally vote GOP.
Whistleblowers, FOIA requests, journalists and Congressional oversight have filled in some of the knowledge gaps and made it increasingly evident that this was directed by people inside Biden’s White House the whole time. At the highest levels.
But for the FBI director — the one who replaced both Comey and Chris Wray who both seemed more interested in playing activist than top cop — has told the public to our faces what we already knew was probably the case:
There WAS no predicate for raiding Mar-A-Lago. There WAS no crime committed to precipitate the raid.

And if law enforcement raids someone’s house and presses bogus charges knowing them to be bogus…? That’s not just illegal, it’s a breech of Constitutional rights.
Not only are they drilling down on all kinds of malfeasance from the Biden era, they’re hunting down the bad guys that the Biden Administration took the foot off the gas in their chasing after J6, as well.

That’s as many as Biden’s FBI caught in the entire four years of his tenure.
Making America great again includes getting dangerous criminals off the streets, sometimes sending them packing to a country of origin, other times, cooling their heels in prison.
This seems like a good place for a little crowing over the failure of Trump’s enemies to destroy him.
