Today’s Catholic School Shooter Named — Will The Press Care Or Bury It?

When tragedies can advance their oppressed/oppressor narrative, it’s about the people involved. When it can’t, attention is deflected to questions like mental health and gun proliferation. Pay attention to the media handling of this case.

The Facts of today’s Minnesota Shooting:

For the second time in two days, Catholics gathered in worship found themselves on the receiving end of a hail of gunfire in Minneapolis. The first incident ended with the suspect escaping. The second incident ended with him taking his life. Thus far, no connection has officially been drawn between these two events.

Today’s target was a Catholic Church with attached school for preschool through grade 8. The children had gathered to celebrate Mass as part of kicking off their first day back to school. They were in their pews, praying when the perp started shooting, killing an 8yo and 10yo child as they sat in their pews.

Killer stood outside, shooting in through the stained glass, causing chaos inside. Early reports indicated 20 injured, but it is unclear how many were injured due to gunfire or other, less serious causes like flying debris and broken glass.

In the video above, Chief O’Hara has clarified that 17 were injured, of whom 14 are children. Two are in critical condition.

Killer, armed with a  rifle and a handgun, ended his own life in the rear of the church.

Conservatives and Christians, as you would expect were calling for believers to pray for situation and anyone in harm’s way. The secular left had no such impulse.

There IS a manifesto, written in code or his own stylized lettering, except for a few words in plain English.

The phrase ‘kill Trump’ written on his weapon tells us that journos ARE right to ‘politicize’ this shooting. Just not in the way they think.

Meanwhile, in that same city, Democrats were gathered to figure out the strategy for opposing Trump in the coming year. And judging by the profanities and angry rhetoric we are hearing from keynote speakers, including Kamala’s failed Veep candidate himself, they have made a decision to double down on rage.

All the pretty words he gave about ‘coming together’ when responding to the killing of Melissa Hortman just two short months ago meant literally nothing to him.

Now is the time for us to recommit to the core values of this country and each and every one of us can do it. Talk to a neighbor rather than arguing. Debate an issue. Shake hands. Find common ground. This is who Melissa Hortman was.

After years of the left routinely scapegoating Christians and white people as the cause of all the world’s ills, while defaulting to wildly messanic rhetoric about ‘saving democracy’ from those threats maybe the left should stop scratching their heads in confusion about ‘how this could happen’.

Polls have long since told us that a third of Dems wished Trump had been killed in Butler.

On that basis, and on at least ONE level, this killer is little different from the average angry hard-left Democrat, with the main difference being a willing to be the instrument of outcomes that other Dems merely wish for.

Prediction: journos will walk away from this story as quickly as possible

When some crackpot in New Zealand went to a mosque and started systematically murdering strangers, the left used the opportunity to shame Americans for supposed ‘islamophobia’. When Syrians went around systematically murdering Christians, they had nothing to say about it, just like they have nothing to say about the slaughter taking place in Nigeria, or the family locking a woman and child in a room and waiting for her baby to starve to death.

We see the same dynamic with trans questions. Clinically dubious or even debunked claims that ‘gender affirming care’ will reduce suicidal ideation has been used as a cudgel to change law and override parental involvement in the lives of their children. But let a mass-casualty event be instigated by someone with gender dysphoria and suddenly all the sacrosanct rules about dead-naming are out the window, and any evidence of trans identity is held as some state secret — even in cases like the Nashville shooting where murderous rage against white people and Christian was specifically admitted in the shooter’s super-secret manifesto. Strange how that manifesto was more ‘secret’ than some crackpot with a grudge against minorities or the system etc, or being rejected by women — etc, etc

How many times must violence be directed against Churches before some of the pearl-clutching we saw with regard to ‘islamophobia’ — especially among the media — is expanded to include concern for murdered Christians?
