Anti-Israeli Sentiment (And How To Deal With It)

Op-Ed By Andrew Linn

Ever since Hamas launched its attack in the Gaza Strip against Israel on October 7, 2023, many people across the globe chose to take the side of the Palestinians, e.g. accusing Israel of genocide, Gazans starving to death, advocating the establishment of a Palestinian nation. Never mind the fact that by siding with the Palestinians, these individuals are also supporting Hamas (a terrorist organization that started this war), not to mention leading to an increase in not just anti-Israeli sentiment, but also anti-Semitism.

Of course, protests against Israel are being led by Muslim organizations and their leftist allies. In addition, several nations (some of our allies to be exact) have turned against Israel and/or plan to recognize the nation of Palestine.

Such recognition will result in another Muslim nation that in all likelihood establish sharia law, engage in the global jihad, and commit human rights violations.

So, what is to be done? Here are some ideas:

  • Debunk the myths about Israel (and “Palestine”). Point out that Israel has not committed genocide in its fight against Hamas (or any other Islamists), while reminding the World that Hamas is responsible for the atrocities in the Gaza Strip-e.g. killing civilians, starving the people of Gaza.
  • Contact your members of Congress (and the White House for that matter) and tell them to support Israel in its fight against the global jihad, of which the Arab-Israeli conflict is just one front.
  • Petition the White House to pressure our allies to crack down on anti-Israeli activity (and hence anti-Semitic incidents). In addition, contact the embassies of such nations and urge them to not abandon Israel, as well as rescinding any intentions to recognize the nation of Palestine.
  • Petition the United State Government and the embassies of our allies to crack down on Islamic extremism, whether it be shutting down organizations such as the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), deporting Muslim migrants (especially those who cause havoc), enforce the
immigration laws, protecting its citizens and their freedoms (e.g. doing away with censorship laws), and prohibiting sharia law.
  • Impose economic sanctions on any nation that refuses to support Israel, and if necessary, cut off diplomatic relations.

As I previously mentioned, the Arab-Israeli conflict (which includes Israel’s fight against Hamas) is just one front of the global jihad. So, in addition to the suggestions I mentioned, I would recommend supporting any other nation that is combating Islamic extremism. I would also recommend pressuring Muslim nations to protect their non-Muslim populations and respect human rights, otherwise they will face economic sanctions or the risk of diplomatic relations being ended.

Israel is a key ally in the fight against the global jihad. Thus, it must be supported.
