Look Who’s Desperate To Paint Two Weekend Shooting Tragedies As ‘MAGA’

Democrat Rahm Emmanuel infamously said ‘you never want to let a serious criis go to waste’, and with leftist on the defensive after a spate of violence they are desperate to change the channel.

The same people who fought hard to spin the guy charged with Charlie Kirk’s death as a religious conservative killing someone from MAGA, it didn’t take much digging to find out that the prime suspect is a radical lefty with fringe sexual proclivities. Before him, there was the guy who fired more than 100 rounds into a catholic school, or the avid gun control guy who shot up an ABC studio during the brief Jimmy Kimmel suspension. Throw in a bunch of leftist groups taking action at federal buildings and a leftist shooting up an ICE facility and you’ve got a fact pattern that is ripping the left’s carefully-constructed narrative to ribbons.

Then along comes a weekend where not one, but two veterans who had served in Iraq turned their weapons on the citizens they once swore to defend.

North Carolina — 3 fatalites, 5 injured

The first of these incidents took place in North Carolina, where a former marine is alleged to have pulled his boat up to the American Fish Company waterfront bar, and started shooting customers. Police are describing this as ‘premeditated’, the victims are likely to have been vacationers with no connection to the killer. And there is a history of erratic behavior including several ‘bizzarre’ lawsuits against the city. One alleged that a local church was trying to kill him.

Police tell us this was a ‘targeted location’ and the accused was apprehended while loading his boat in the public boat ramp at Oak Island. They stop short of giving a reason why it was chosen as a target.

Anyone expecting a rational motive behind this attack is playing some long odds indeed.

Michigan — Mormon Church 5 killed 8 wounded

In the middle of a worship service on a Sunday morning, Thomas Jacob Sanford is alleged to have smashed his truck into the building before taking up a firearm and shooting at those in attendance. A fire was started, which engulfed the building, which has been proclaimed a ‘total loss’.

The most accurate number at the time of this writing does not account for several people whose whereabouts and condition are not presently known.

The attacker was shot dead by police who arrived on the scene.

Human nature being what it is, it wasn’t long before people started majoring on the minor.

On the religious front — the ‘are Mormons really Christians’ question some have been raising in their desire to uphold Christian orthodoxy is best answered in the spirit of Ronald Reagan’s (Democrat) doctor after the assassination attempt. Debates about theology can wait until AFTER vicitms clinging to life have had their vitals stabilized, and those who have perished have their bodies recovered and families notified.

The political squabble about whether this killing can be laid at the feet of MAGA (important to proving their ‘both sides do violence claims) took no time at all, with people looking at a photo of the residence, for example, or the flags on the truck as clues that maybe he belongs to the political tribe so many hope he does. At the other end, the right was in such a hurry to prove the left wrong, they found someone with as similar name from a different state making left-leaning political donations and offered it as proof that the left was lying about MAGA doing it.

The fact is, we don’t really know what was driving this. There are other factors in his life that have nothing to do with traditional political squabbles. Including his child having a serious health condition.

All this armchair-quarterbacking changes nothing that won’t eventually come into view once the facts are really known.

The only people who benefit from jumping to conclusions are those who want to see us at each other’s throats regardless of who did what to whom. And the people who want that, do not want what’s best for us.
