OOPS: Jake Tapper’s Colbert Propaganda Line Just Got Sandbagged By Google Announcement

In a story with no good guys, the fun comes in watching the bad guys turn on each other to destroy them. This is one such story.

Jake Tapper went onto Steven Colbert’s show and was sure to bring his pearls with him, because the whole point of that appearance was to finger-wag at how bad Donald Trump is for ‘silencing’ Jimmy Kimmel. Is it a ‘Threat to Democracy’? Of course! These days, everything is. But Google’s parent picked a helluva time to rain on his parade.

“He’s a friend of both of ours, you know him I know him.”

Note — speaking of ‘party’, there’s a difference in quality between the kind of ‘friend’ you might grab a bite with after a corporate event and the one you invite to a birthday party. Guess which one Jake Tapper is? No mention of that, though.

Right.

Just in time for us to read an admission by Google that exposes just how boldly Jake is lying in that claim.

As part of Jim Jordan’s announcement [thread here] that Google admitted to censoring Republicans at the behest of Biden, he also mentioned other things they admitted:

-Admits the Biden Admin censorship pressure was “unacceptable and wrong”
-Confirms that the Biden Admin wanted Americans censored for speech that did not violate YouTube’s policies
-Details when YouTube began rolling back its censorship policies on political speech after @JudiciaryGOP began its investigation
-States that public debate should NEVER come at the expense of relying on “authorities”
-Promises to NEVER use third-party “fact-checkers”
-Warns that Europe’s censorship laws target AMERICAN companies and threaten AMERICAN speech

The same thread reminds us about Facebook admitting to the same thing.

This is another victory in the fight against censorship.

1. Biden Admin “pressured” Facebook to censor Americans.
2. Facebook censored Americans.
3. Facebook throttled the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Tapper wasn’t worried about some guy making the oldest political joke in the book (a version of our guys vote tomorrow, your guys vote the day after — har, har) doing prison time while Jimmy Kimmel made exactly the same joke just before Trump’s re-election, without consequence. Only difference being which political party the joke disfavored.

The Twitter files happened in the span of Tapper’s lifetime, in which Doctors — who made statements that are consistent with what we now know to be FACTS about the virus, its origin, our responses to it and the government-mandated remedies — were deplatformed and threatened with the loss of their professional credentials. Meanwhile, Fauci, who has been shown to have lied to Congress is still hailed as a national hero by the left.

I suppose Tapper isn’t bothered by what Biden did to the Federalist, and doesn’t consider it anywhere NEAR the dangerous precedent of private companies deciding they don’t want to be exposed to whatever defamation suits that someone as reckless as Jimmy Kimmel might bring down on their collective heads.

Bankrupting the news agency that’s critical of your failed presidency? That kind of stuff is totally normal in a Democratic Republic. Just look at DPRK! It’s right there in the name.

James O’Keefe’s organization came into lawful possession of Ashley Biden’s diary, which included some shocking allegations about the then-sitting President, as written by his own daughter. It was later proven to be authentic. O’Keefe and a staffer were visited by the feds over it, and their devices were searched including their emails and sources, and somehow, the NYTimes, which was in a lawsuit with them at the time, magically came into possession of O’Keefe’s personal phone date.

No big whoop there, right Jake?

Tapper was tip-of-the-spear in the Russiagate scandal stories, but doesn’t have much to say about evidence Tulsi is producing about the subversive top-level conspiracy to take Trump down.

And as far as free speech goes? Even setting aside the murder of Charlie Kirk for how he used his words to persuade the public, how many right-wing personalities and organizations have been violently targeted by leftwing violence. Just yesterday, we got a lifetime sentence for one guy who tried to murder Trump. Last week, we learned about the guy who tried to kill Kavanaugh over the Dobbs decision. Biden/Merrick never bothered to enforce FACE violations against churches or pro-life clinics.

Long before they had the excuse of silencing him for the ‘dangerous incitement’ of Jan 6, leftist were dreaming about forcibly silencing no less than the sitting president himself.

Why is Tapper — whose entire livelihood hinges on the First Amendment — so tremendously blind to all the times Democrats have violated the rights of their opponents?

Gee. That’s a real head-scratcher…

If only we had some sort of a clue for why he might think that.

GMail has been manipulating conservative mailing lists by diverting requested mailers into the trash even though people had expressly signed up to receive them. After 30-60 days of such diversion, in which emails aren’t opened, attempts to send to that address count as a ‘spam’ mailer which is used as justification for further suppression of the email. Yours truly has found email chains in which core members of ClashDaily personnel were discussing work concerns to be mysteriously diverted to ‘trash’ without reason.
