OOPS: Rosie Backpedals HARD After Claiming MN School Shooter Was ‘MAGA’
Are you buying her 'apology' or is she full of it?

Have you noticed how the left is desperate to assume that any atrocity committed is somehow the fault of someone connected to the other guys?
What happened with Rosie is a small part of a larger story.
When Seb Gorka, for instance, pointed out the correlation between ideologically-driven mass casualty events that singled out religious communities for their targets, and gender non-conforming perpetrators of those crimes, CNN’s Brianna Keilar fought hard to spin the story in a very different direction.
NOW: Gorka SHUTS DOWN CNN’s fake narrative that 96% of mass shootings were carried out by non-trans men.
There’s one BIG problem with that data set…and @SebGorka exposed it live for all to hear.

The simplest explanation for why they keep getting stories like this one wrong? Something called cognitive dissonance, when a person is so certain of things they believe to be true that they are indifferent to evidence to the contrary. We all fall prey to it to some degree, but journos are especially egregious offenders. If they were interested in reporting facts, not opinions, they would be checking their own content for biases.
Their custom, through the Trump years and honestly, since much earlier than that is to tell the story that aligns with their own opinion of the world, namely that their team are the compassionate ‘good guys’, and the other team are the horrible bad guys. Even when their team is caught doing something wrong, it will be treated as ‘one bad apple’, or the bad things they get caught doing will be mitigated by other things they have done — the most obvious example being journos who defended Bill Clinton AFTER his scandals because he pushed policies that were important to them. One female ‘reporter’ famously said she would personally perform the act that made Monica infamous so long as it mean his policy on abortion or whatever remained in law.
Which brings us to Rosie and her account of the shooting.
Media outlets were tripping over themselves to NOT say the uncomfortable facts about the killer personally speaking about deeply regretting the gender-change, being obsessed with the idea of killing children, and that an explicit call to violence against Trump was written on the magazine of one of his firearms.
Some are fighting hard to call the killer by his assumed name/gender even after he himself found no solace in the ‘gender-affirming care’ he had been offered. Others, like the NYT, plead ignorance as to what might have motivated his behavior long after the broad strokes of his motives were largely known. There was a drawing of the layout of the church he attacked in his coded diary/manifesto.
Rosie wasted no time in assuming this white shooter was somehow connected to MAGA. And said so.
I see why Trump said what he said about Rosie O’Donnell.
She’s out here lying THROUGH HER TEETH about the Minnesota Catholic school shooter, calling him “MAGA.”
The truth was already public for two days: he had “Kill Donald Trump” and “Kill Trump Now” written on his magazine… pic.twitter.com/KaqrcFthvb

A couple days later, she’s backpedalling.
Sorry to subject you to Rosie O'Donnell's face but, I actually respect this.
I'm sure we can go back to calling her crazy tomorrow, but we need to call out good things when we see them.
Credit to her for this. pic.twitter.com/GjrsfNpoKl— Mr Reagan 🇺🇸 (@MrReaganUSA) September 1, 2025
