Trump Derangement Was Bad Enough, But RFK/Tylenol Derangement Is Next Level Crazy

I regret to inform you that the hive mind of the left is in brain-rot mode again, and this time, their defiance is sending people to the hospital.
It all goes back to a simple promise RFK made to find out if we could identify any risk factors responsible for why there have been hockey-stick levels of growth in the known cases of autism.
Earlier this week, RFK made reference to a discovery that suggested there could be an increased risk to the unborn baby in taking Acetaminophen (eg Tylenol) except when you need it for a serious headache or to bring down a fever. Trump amplified the announcement, and the left unleashed the hounds.
This might be a good time to mention that the study in question wasn’t initiated by RFK or even the current administration. It’s a study that had been undertaken by Harvard.
Even Tylenol, back in Trump’s first term, was giving customers guidance to avoid taking their product during pregnancy.
But the left decided to turn their NeverTrump/MAHA defiance into some kind of a social media challenge where women with very prominent ‘baby bumps’ make a grand show of displaying their impending motherhood, opening a Tylenol on camera (with the name facing the camera, of course), and consuming it while mugging for some imagined online audience. It’s the same sort of song and dance we saw after Dobbs when women went to a protest and consumed a medically-unnecessary and unhelpful dose of the so-called ‘Morning After’ pill for no reason at all but to ‘own the Right’.

We remind you that this was an actual HARVARD study that both Trump and RFK had been referencing. But Orange Man Bad, so… here we are.
Then came along Nicole Sirotek, who told her social media following about a case she claimed personal knowledge about, in which an expectant mother (20-some-odd weeks along) consumed a megadose of Tylenol as part of one one these stunts. As a result, she’s hospitalized with liver failure. Both she and her unborn child are said to be beyond any medical help the hospital can offer in saving their lives.

The usual cynics are calling BS on the story, and it’s possible that they’re right. But she IS writing as a nurse who was the original NYC Covid whistleblower , and the other recent posts on Twitter are consistent with someone who is concerned about liver damage due to a potentially lethal overdose of Acetaminophen, which can kick in at about 4g or 4000 mg.
That works out to about a little more than a dozen regular strength (325mg) Tylenol, or about 8 of the extra strength.
There are far better ways to give a middle finger to the party in power than playing Russian roulette with your life and that of your unborn kid. It just ain’t worth it.
