Was Noah’s Ark A Big, Floating Game Ranch?

Doug sat down with Skip Coryell to talk about his new release on what the Bible says about hunting.
You’ve probably heard the bleeding-heart types give all kinds of reasons why a good Christian ought never to put the ‘bam’ to Bambi, about why hunting is barbaric and fishing is — at best — barely tolerable.
Doug took up the challenge and scoured the word of God from stem to stern looking for a single instance — even ONE — where God wagged his divine finger at people for hunting or fishing.
Not only was it nowhere to be found, Doug found enough other juicy tidbits in there in support of hunting and fishing that he wrote a whole book about it.
Doug’s interview starts at about the 28 minute mark in the show, and they hold nothing back, starting with the very first instance in scripture of an animal being killed… you might be surprised to learn who was responsible. And more importantly… why it was done!
You can find the book here: The Bible and Hunting
If a person looked to Scripture and paid particular attention to the passages within the Bible that address the topic of hunting, then they’d walk away thinking not only is hunting animals tolerated but it is endorsed by God. And that’s exactly what this little book is about: proving that God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting. I’ll go out on a biblical limb and claim right off the bat that you cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scripture is against the responsible killing and the grilling of the animals He created. ~Doug Giles
