Robbie Starbuck Takes Big Tech To Court For BRUTAL AI Defamation Of His Character

The 'don't be evil' people are being taken to court for defamation

Remember the old days when screwgle embraced that ‘don’t be evil’ slogan? It’s been a long time since those days. That immunity to lawsuits has some limitations, and Robbie is testing those limitations as we speak.

Robbie Starbuck has had some heinous allegations made against his character, after suing Meta, and getting a settlement, after they made illegitimate allegations about his whereabouts and involvement in J6. (He wasn’t even in DC.)

He talks about those allegations and his lawsuit in this TV interview.

Out of curiosity, we asked Google’s AI about him, and its answer now includes updated information about the lawsuit against both Google, and the earlier one against Meta. Looks like someone got the memo to tell AI it needs to dial it back on this guy, because the answer it churned out this morning looks more like straight-line news/biography than anything the ‘mainstream’ media might churn out. An excerpt:

Lawsuit against Meta: In April 2025, Starbuck filed a defamation lawsuit against Meta, alleging that its AI chatbot created false claims about him, including that he participated in the January 6 Capitol attack. The suit was settled in August, with Meta hiring Starbuck as an advisor to address alleged ideological bias in its AI.
Lawsuit against Google: In October 2025, Starbuck sued Google, seeking over $15 million in damages for defamation. The lawsuit claims that Google’s AI tools have generated “outrageously false” statements, including fabricating criminal accusations and linking him to a white nationalist. Starbuck stated that despite multiple warnings, Google failed to fix the issues.

It’s hardly the first time someone on the right has been kneecapped by Big Tek Alphabet. A whole constellation of right-wing blogs has been silenced because Google adsense nuked their revenue, and plenty more (including candidates) are left screaming into the void because their mailing lists have been manipulated by gmail playing games with the recipient lists, diverting to spam folders or even somethin as simple as delaying arrival.

(Many of you no longer get our emails. And that’s a big part of the reason.)

This could open a whole other level of accountability, where the AI models are forced to fact-check themselves. In the mean time, we appreciate the work of alternative platforms like Rumble
