The Superbowl Named A Lame Half-Time Act… Would You Watch TPUSA’s Halftime Alternative?
Tim Pool, Poso, Blake Masters & Lauren Chen had an interesting conversation about the Superbowl

The entire world could burn down and the big game is still going to go ahead. But what happens if someone introduces a little healthy competition into the break at halftime?
When the NFL announced that their big halftime act was going to be someone called ‘Bad Bunny’, America answered with a collective yawn. Some didn’t know who he was and others didn’t care. It was an amazing opportunity to pick a big, well-known act that could have bridged the divide with an uplifting sound… something America has been aching to see since, well, Creed lit up the halftime show.
At least, that’s what the panel sitting in with the guest-host of Charlie Kirk’s show have been saying. Poso tweeted that out. And the media started asking questions: will TPUSA be running a counter-programming with Creed?

Until now, it’s just been a given that everyone tuned into the Big Game would either stay tuned in for the halftime show, or wander off until it was over, with the ratings staying high throughout because nobody really turns it off, whether they care about the halftime act or not.
What if..? What if a disrupter comes along and takes a run at a model that has taken its fans for granted so long that the programming itself has become stale and pandering? Does to the NFL’s golden goose what Netflix did to Blockbuster’s empire?
There’s a whole lot of people who love to watch the pigskin thrown around but hate the slop fans are served at halftime that might be happy to fill the time in-between with… something better.
What if someone rises to the challenge and actually GIVES them that ‘something better’.
And they just happened to ask that question with a venture capitalist sitting in the panel. In a world where is answer ‘I wasn’t thinking about it’ opens up a whole new world of possiblities.
If they pull it off? Not only will we have something worth watching at halftime while ad dollars don’t go to people who hate half of America, there will be competition for those precious ad dollars, which means pressure to put on halftime acts that football fans might actually want to watch.
