JD Vance Tributes 250th Anniversary Of The Marines… By Telling Their Story

Who better to tell the story of the Marines on their 250th anniversary than the Vice President

If anyone in the White House is fit to give tribute to the Marines’ story, it would be the Vice President who has served as one.

In part of their effort to properly commemorate 250 years of America as a nation, the White House has been posting videos on a subsection of their web page. Topics range from Lexington and Concord, to the formation of the army, to the Declaration of Independence, the navy, the role John Adams, and so on. This is over and above some other videos we saw over the summer ‘The Founders Museum‘ videos featuring men and women whose stories and roles in America’s founding you may or may not already know; and another page you can check out when the broken link gets fixed after Schumer’s ridiculous shutdown has fully run its course.

But today, we turn our attention to Vice President Vance telling a short overview of the story of the Marines.

In remembering events as they unfolded 250 years ago, it seems fitting that a video retelling (from the perspective of Martha Washington) the hardships and resolve shown in Valley Forge also went live just in time for Veterans’ Day.

Then, as now, leadership doesn’t just require facing the external obstacles, but cowardly attacks from within, as well.

A moment of appreciation for those who made this nation possible in the first place… and those who still serve even now, from the newest elisted private, to, in this case, the Vice President himself.
