WATCH: Second Amendment Stops A Crime… Without ANYONE Getting Hurt

Show this to Beto or David Hogg and watch their heads explode

To hear most Dems tell it, Second Amendment supporters revel in stories that feature the phase ‘so I started blastin’. They’re missing the point completely.

Just as any skilled martial artist will walk away from any street fight he doesn’t consider absolutely necessary, an armed citizen with a legal firearm isn’t eager for the opportunity to fill a stranger full of lead.

It’s a tool that’s treated more like the fire extinguisher or the parachute. You hope you never have to use it, but when the time comes that you need it, it’s too late to start thinking about getting one.

In this clip, we see some CC footage of a man following Breanna Morello into her apartment building, and then quickly realizing he had made a serious error in judgment.

The post with her caption on it:

The video from the post:

The reason we know her story is because, well, she’s a longtime journalist and media personality.

She knew how to follow up, get the footage, and record the police sergeant’s description of what happened.

The federal government used to track how many crimes were averted through the ‘good guy with a gun’ or better still, the nonviolent use of a weapon presented against a potential assailant.

Because such stories present a really compelling counter-narrative to what gun-grabbers want the public to think about lawful gun owners, they stopped tracking such data.

But Ms Morello, is one example among so many others, where the presence of a firearm, and the confidence to use it in a moment of peril,  is the difference between an encounter ending at a peacable standoff, rather than a situation where any number of unthinkable outcomes could be awaiting her.

Whether it’s a gun, or one of the newer non-lethal equivents, the goal is keeping as much distance as possible from the threat, until help arrives or the defender can retreat to a place of safety.

As the officer in the video explains, they followed up on the incident, and the unknown man backed away when he saw she was armed.
