WATCH: Trump Responds To Heinous Terror Shooting Of National Guard In DC
We saw a grimly solemn side of the President in light of the current events

That too-familiar jihadist slogan was shouted during an ambush attack against the National Guard just past Lafayette Square, opposite the White House. The President addresses the nation in response.
At the time of this writing, the two members of the national guard who were ambushed by a jihadist with a handgun in DC are reported to be in critical condition in the hospital. Their future hangs in the balance, and several members of the administration, including Pete Hegseth, have made direct requests to the praying public that they make an ‘Appeal to Heaven’ (a George Washington reference) on their behalf.
In a broad daylight ambush attack at 2:15 local time, a female member of the National Guard was shot point blank in the head, then the gunmen took her weapon and shot another guardsman with it before being taken down himself by someone from National Guard returning fire.
The Afghani assailant, was also rushed to the hospital, where he is expected to survive and remains in custody.
President Trump, after being briefed on the relevant information, gave a 5 minute address to the the nation, describing the events, what led up to them, and what he intends to do in response.
“The hearts of all Americans tonight are with those two members of the West Virginia National Guard and their families…
We will make America totally safe again, and we will bring the perpetrator of this barbaric attack to swift and certain justice.” — President Trump pic.twitter.com/zOkJGZyGmk

As for specific action Trump is taking in response?
Ironically, the relevant action that could have prevented this was already underway. Trump had ordered a review of everyone Joe Biden admitted under the mad scramble that Biden’s people called a ‘success’ during the Fall of Kabul.
Per CNN, after describing the announcement that immigration cases from Afghanistan are being paused ‘indefinitely’ pending review of vetting methods:
The Trump administration was already in the process of re-interviewing Afghan migrants admitted to the US during the previous administration, CNN reported earlier this week, according to an internal memo and a source familiar with the plans. Trump officials have repeatedly argued that the previous administration didn’t sufficiently vet the people who entered the US. — CNN
Not surprisingly, the jihadi war cry was uttered by one of the people Joe brought in under ‘Operation Allies Welcome’ after Joe’s personal orders about Afghanistan led to the chaotic fall of Kabul, including the subsequent Abbey Gate terror bombing.
Joe’s signature authorized both his entry into America and the extension he has reportedly overstayed.
Yesterday, we witnessed the ‘gratitude’ that ‘Welcome Ally’ has for the nation that extended its goodwill.
Ironically, that ‘gratitude’ strongly resembles a certain poem Trump would recite while campaigning in 2016.
