Is It “Wrong” To Pray For THIS?

Maybe you’ve noticed by now how different a line-by-line biblical reading of the Lord’s Prayer is from what the super-spiritual or Precious Moments people would have had us believe? And there’s plenty more where that came from.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
It’s a sentence so simple a little kid can say it in his nightly prayers, it requires the eduction of a theologian to bend it so far out of shape that nobody can understand it.
