Media Loses Their Minds As Kash Patel Calls Trump From That Gold Medal Hockey Locker Room
Trump loves a winner, and in sports, a gold medal as an underdog against the favorites is about as good as it gets
It was a bitter pill for Canuck sports fans and a re-enactment of the Miracle on Ice for team USA as an outstanding performance in goal sent the Stars and Stripes to the rafters as the American anthem played for the second time in the hockey medals ceremony.
How do you improve on a win like that? By having the President call you up and talk up the game. It looks like he watched it, too, since he knew how clutch Connor Hellebuyck was in keeping some world-class Canuck snipers off the scoresheet.

Kash was holding the phone in that call. Lefties (the same ones who didn’t seem to mind Jill Biden hitting the Olympics while Joe stayed behind) feigned outrage about him living large on the taxpayer dime. As if they care a whit about the taxpayer dime.
First, he acknowledged that, yes, he was in the locker room with the boys after their big win.
He then responded directly to an allegation made by the news media, as if he would somehow have any advance notice that America would advance to the Gold-Medal game against Canada, let alone beat them in overtime.

He was also captured celebrating in the locker room on team member Dylan Larkin’s Instagram Live. Other footage obtained appears to show Patel chugging a bottle of beer and screaming in celebration as player put a gold medal around his neck.
It’s an awkward look for the director, whose agency is already battling perceptions that he is unqualified for the job and unserious with his management of the agency and use of its resources.

He responded to the predictable outrage chorus by posting his interaction with Carol Leonnig and ‘Fusion’ Ken Dilation on his social media.
If only they cared as much about millions or billions of dollars lost to fraud as they do about Kash grabbing a cold one with the boys in the locker room.
The beer didn’t cost taxpayers a dime, by the way. It’s a long and storied tradition for the booze to flow freely in celebration after a hockey win… where it usually involves drinking from a certain enormous silver Cup.
