OOPS: UK Propaganda Attempt Unleashed A Force it Can’t Control — The Best Amelia Yet

What began as an anti-right thought control tool took on a life of its own

While so much of the world has been watching Venezuela, Minneapolis, and Iran… a popular revolt of another kind has been swelling in (of all places) the United Kingdom. And it all began with a government propaganda experiment gone wrong.

Clash has been so busy covering the other stories that there’s hardly been an opportunity to bring out readers up to speed on the Amelia story.

Embracing the spirit of 1984 with no apparent sense of self-awareness, the dim bulbs of INGSOC in the UK decided something MUST BE DONE about British citizens who were not adopting the views of society the were being told to adopt. They turned to their experts and put together a video game to teach the right and wrong ways to navigate their political world. A non-profit group (imagine our shock) called ‘Shout Out UK’ put together an ‘educational video game’ for this purpose. The player character had to navigate social forces that would conspire to pull him into the wrong associations that might give him the wrong ideas.

We can see where this is going, right?

They made a critical mistake. Not only did they frame the strong defense of traditional ideas as dangerous and rebellious, but they made the face of the ‘temptress’ sassy, edgy, cool, and attractive.

The memes practically wrote themselves. They didn’t even have to change the words in Amelia’s mouth. The things they had her say were already what traditionalists who think British culture should be preserved and defended, rather than destroyed or erased. That the Brits gave real and meaningful contributions to history, and should by no means apologize for having done so.

Here’s one of the latest versions of a long line of such memes. You can see why it’s catching on. High energy. Capturing the zeitgeist of the age.

It’s like painting rock-n-roll as the villain in the 50s, or hackers as the villain in the 90s. It just doesn’t go well.

The UK establishment come off looking like that principal in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. They are literally becoming the Ministry of Truth, pushing out revisionist lies.

And the best part is how this ignited AI was told to read all of the Amelia dialogue and then generate posts based on what her government-approved character said. And it took off.

If this story scratches an itch, Bill Whittle and his Right Angle crew can take you further down the rabbit hole, here.

The wildest part about this phenomenon is that it is creating a permission structure to say the forbidden thing. That Britons liked the world as it was before globalists started messing with it and forcing their vision on it with ZERO consent of the governed.

And in a country where you can get arrested for mean tweets while literal rapists walk free, that’s the kind of flashpoint that could (possibly) start a movement.
