Repeat Offender From China Caught Running Unregistered Bio-Lab — And There’s A Canadian Criminal Connection

An arrest was made in Las Vegas that should make us sit up and take notice of what, exactly is being done under our noses by people with no respect for our laws.

The charges began with an illegal disposal of hazardous medical waste investigation. When authorities entered the home of Ori Solomon, the property manager of the residence where an illegal bio lab was alleged to have been run, they saw a gun on the premises that a temporary worker like Ori had no right to own. Other weapons were found on site as well. Once the warrants were amended to seize them as well, those were entered into evidence.

He has additionally been charged in Nevada for felony disposal/ discharge of hazardous waste in an unauthorized manner in connection with the alleged illicit bio lab, located in a residence in northeast Las Vegas.
The “potential biological and hazardous materials” were primarily located in a locked garage in the residence, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said during a press briefing on Monday.

In the garage, investigators found multiple refrigerators with vials of unknown liquids, unknown liquids in gallon-size containers, a centrifuge and other laboratory equipment, authorities said.

The evidence has since been transported to an FBI lab for testing, according to the sheriff. — ABC

That covers the manager. But the property owner? He’s been in this situation before. He was connected to another bio lab run out of Reedley California.

Didja happen to notice the CCP tie-in? Good. Because that’s pretty important to the story. From the opening paragraphs of the report:

Officer Harper knew that this warehouse was not licensed or permitted for any laboratory functions. She also knew that there were over a half-dozen other building code violations that she spotted in her brief walk inside the building. What Officer Harper did not know, however, was that her investigation of this green garden hose would uncover a laboratory filled with thousands of vials containing pathogens and other unknown biological and chemical substances.
A subsequent investigation revealed that the laboratory was operated by a wanted fugitive from Canada, who is a PRC citizen. The said fugitive had previously stolen millions of dollars of intellectual property from American companies and was part of an ongoing transnational criminal enterprise with ties to the PRC for which he was ultimately charged in federal court.

There was a $330M judgement against him in Canadian courts.

This connection to cattle was important because, at some point while Zhu managed these PRC businesses, he traveled to Canada and created dozens of companies in Canada, the PRC, and elsewhere. These companies engaged in massive theft of American cattle-related intellectual property, resulting in a CAD$330 million judgment against Zhu and his coconspirators. As Zhu stated in documents that the Select Committee obtained from the Reedley Biolab, “the Company is looking to seize the opportunity to develop the operational platform for the rapid growth in the Chinese dairy industry, fulfill[ing] [PRC] Premier [and CCP Politburo Member] Wen Jiabao’s wish to ‘provide every Chinese, especially children, sufficient milk every day.’” At that time, China faced a pressing milk crisis and the PRC’s government was pursuing “policies to develop the high-yielding dairy cattle market.”

All this was during the Biden years, mind you, when Biden cancelled the various Trump crackdowns on CCP spy operations. Not because there was no evidence of Chinese spycraft but because such efforts were (you all know the next word in this sentence) ra-cist!

Racist or no, cutting them off was objectively stupid.

Fortunately the spread of pathogens, and the sale of bogus PPE has not been an issue at any point in World History, and especially not in the last, oh, six years or so. Right?

Did we mention the link to counterfeit medical supplies?
Yeah, that plays a role in this story, too.

But let’s all just assume the CCP has some perfectly reasonable explanations for developing strains of illness that are particularly dangerous to humans in unregistered labs *checks notes* in unremarkable homes in America.

Ok, what are those ‘reasonable’ explanations. Yeah, I thought not.

Better question: How many others have we NOT found yet?

All while a Shanghai billionaire is dumping truckloads of money into the myriad ‘resistance’ groups that Democrats are so happy to throw in with?

What foreign influence is bad when Putin does it, but AWESOME when Xi does?
